Not sure how much longer I can make time for this show. Wow, what an episode. Here is my 2 cents:
-People getting sick and dieing from nasty flu like illness - "Lets keep their cell doors open so when they die they can get out and attack us!"
-Herschel in danger of walker in jail - "Wait, I cant put this walker down in front of two little children who have already seen the ridiculous terrors of this new society and will continue to live in it for the rest of their lives!"
-zombies break through the fence finally - "Oh shit they broke through the fence! Here, lets just bust out our military grade weaponry we have stockpiled and kill them once and for all because doing so before they broke the fence would have made too much sense!" "Oh btw this can be done from yards away with only two people!"
Not relly interested in watching a show where any action or drama or plot movement is advanced by the retarded decisions of characters who have shown time and time again that they should fucking know better by now. Jesus christ, could this crew get any stupider???

Shit, Herschel is badass, wrestling a walker on nets and all. Also I take it back, the little girl is also badass.

Okay, I'll bite.

To be fair, he was in the process of closing all of the doors for the night when people started dying. The timing was a little too convenient though, I admit.

Agreed.

Why would they waste a ton of ammo and attract the attention of even more zombies by resorting to gunfire if they don't have to? It's not like they can keep that up forever, especially if someone is luring the zombies to a weak point as was the case here. They've been killing the zombies by hand every day, but more keep coming.
Anyway I really loved this episode outside of the really convenient timing on the events in the quarantine ward, and the crew coming back with medicine at the last minute to miraculously cure everybody important while all of the side characters die. But I think it's great that they keep inventing ways to make the viewer feel unsafe, even while they're holed up inside a secure prison.

So there were literally 3 people not in quarantine while the outbreak happened? Also, are any redshirts left, or are they all dead now?
Also also, if they could've mowed down all the zombies from the fence with guns.. why the heck didn't they do that before? And why didn't they just stab them all in the head like they did before? "There's too many" isn't an argument when you have all frickin' day to do it. One stab per minute for 8 hours will get you 480 zombies, and that's just one person.
Also also also, why didn't Hershel get sick? Not that it matters now that they got the meds, but it would've been nice if they showed him having symptoms, too.
Not really sure if I should be looking forward to the gov. He was such a nonsensical villain in the last season. I really hope they're not going to stretch him out over the rest of the season again.
Don't get me wrong, I still like the show. But sometimes I feel like nitpicking. I blame the YMS videos someone posted here.

Obviously we can't know for sure, but old people are way less likely to get sick since they may have an immunity from getting the illness before. Also doesn't it take awhile for symptoms to develop? He wasn't in there for very long.

i really liked that episode, was kinda feeling uneasy while all that happened, i missed that feeling in the walking dead (:

Why close the doors for the night? Close the doors at ALL TIMES DUH.
Also, why WOULDNT you use your ammo when there are litterally hundreds of walkers breaking through your fence for days(weeks?)
Gimme a break lol.

i think so they don't draw anymore attention from other walkers lurking in the area. just remember the first episodes where one gunshot is the reason the streets are full of walkers. so in case they thought it would be enough to strenghten the wall with wood so they can stab them later it's legit.

Ahh ok. Thanks for that. For some reason I rarely get around to checking the sneak peek vids.

He never said he didn't like hearing your opinion. So defensive. You're so fixated on Herschel being "retarded" in that episode you're missing the over-arching reason why he's being retarded and how his character had changed in that episode because of it. If you didn't miss it, then I simply must concur and re-ask why you continue to watch the show.

This episode was great imo, one of the best, I found the music particularly awesome. Also Heschel can intubate someone witout a laryngoscope, pls teach me master

^ there is no publicly available immunity for the flu* #conspiracy.
Really enjoyed the last episode, shouldnt have come in here and ruined most of it for myself before i ate dinner but whatever

I think when the Flu had just started to breakout, Hershel explained that it affected old people (and i think children) less than everyone else. I can't tell you why, or what kind of logic that follows (because obviously your immune system breaks down as you get older), but I do remember him saying something like that.

I think he said the old and young were more vulnerable and needed to be separated.

LMAO what? why are you so mad hahaha I didn't say anything about your opinion. I'm saying if you didn't like the season's best episode and one of the best of the series, it's time to move on, because this series clearly is not for you lol
Settle down kiddo it's just the internet lol

That's the most unbelievable thing of all about that episode imo. Out of all the people they brought back from Woodbury, apparently everyone is either sick or a main character of the show (or both). Where the *** is everyone else??
Well, it was a great episode in any case. I really wish they would leave the prison at some point though.

Only thing that bugged me about last night's episode: so the fence is finally breached (at night no less) and Rick + 1 child is enough to kill it off. What kind of shitty built up threat is that?

Not to mention a gazillion ways to deal with it other than leaning right back against the fence from the other side.
