Some variant of Adagio in D Minor. Used in a lot of movies.

rofl, that is what I was thinking of too when that scene rolled by. Not a bad episode and I haven't read the comics, so I dunno how it went down. The ending is so... arghh though.

It's a variant (or maybe the same one, not sure) of a song from the movie "Sunshine." It was also used in the movie "Kick-Ass."
Interesting episode. I think we'll learn some of the back story of the "epidemic" referred to as wildfire. Probably the same as a lot of other shows/movies like this, military project gone wrong. Would be more cool if instead of some "military weapon" it was something like a cure for cancer that went wrong. Just trying to avoid the apocalyptic theme we've seen over and over again
I recorded last nights episode on my direct tv dvr and i noticed it would skitz out over and over throughout the episode so i didnt get the "feel" like everyone else did but i thought this episode was really good, im interested to see if the main characters buddy and him end up getting things straight or one of them kills the other but ofcourse we know who will win but in reality probably wouldnt in that fight lol I wasnt really that fascinated by the CDC character, it seemed very gimicky but i suppose still needed. I was surprised how many main characters were killed off and now left behind at the camp, i think it seems obvious Earl led them there with noise or something to get some revenge, its a shame Earl is such a douchebag in the show and yet his brother with the bow seems like a kick ass dude to have around and his attitude is much better with regards to racism etc. Looking forward to next week!
CDC guy reminds me of Wall-E. World completely destroyed and gone around him, he's all alone, and yet he continues his work. Wonder how he'll interact with people. Am I right when I say the season ends after next week's episode?
Every episode so far has had atleast one unbelievably bad scene, this makes me dislike this show. However this episode (although not much happened at all) was a step in a good direction, reducing the gang and adding Mr Truman Show-guy.

It can go either way. If it was suppose to be a cure for cancer, then it is pretty much how I Am Legend (movie) started.

It's not Earl, it's Merle. Yes, it was probably him that led the group of zombies to the camp. His brother Daryl is still a douche, but I like him more than Merle. I wouldn't be surprised if it came down to him vs his brother. Daryl looks more like the smarter type since he's willing to work with others.
Judging from that preview, I wonder if the CDC guy is referring to Morgan (guy from the first episode)?
Morgan as Test Subject 19? I doubt it. Doesn't sound right, but who knows? I'm going to say TS19 is still alive though. The title of the episode is TS-19. Kind of strange that they would title the episode over something so small (the scientist mentioning the name). It would be cool if we get to see TS19.
Why wouldn't they? Just because they name an episode TS-19 doesn't mean it has to be big. For all we know, the CDC guy could retell Morgan's story the beginning where he separated from Rick to how he ended up in the fortification lab.

They probably weren't expecting it to be as highly watched as it is. They renewed it for a 13 episode second season after the 2nd episode. The pilot was the most watched premiere of any show on AMC. End Wikipedia quoting.
But sometimes networks will pick up a show for a few episodes to test the waters, and if it's received well they'll renew it for a longer second season. Not surprising, just glad they will indeed continue it.

That was because of the writers strike.
Last nights episode was superb. I actually got angry at the cliffhanger as it was so dam awesomely placed and I didn't want the episode to finish. Gets me super pumped for the next one though. Sucks that the season is only six episodes long.

Nah, I'm thinking TS19 is someone he knew. He may turn out to be a classic evil scientist and TS19 was his lab partner that he got infected so he could do tests on him. He did not take it well when he lost that sample. Maybe it was just frustration and lonliness but it could also be guilt.
