Discussing the show and past episodes is fine. Do not put things that have happened in the TV series in spoilers. However, don't spoil things from the books that may happen in future episodes. Put book spoilers in spoiler tags with a CLEAR WARNING that it is from the book.

BAD WRITING! lol yea "why only use the right side when u can use the whole road it's safer derp derp" although I didn't even think about that when I watched it

A complete rip off of the original story wouldn't be fun at all for people that read the comics because you already know what happens.

Don't know why the scientist was alone in that facility..did the others leave in panic when things outside went bad? But I liked that it was called 'wildfire' could've been a reference to 'the andromeda strain' (movie about scientists and a alien virus). =) Not sure why the group arrived that late there. They left in the early morning and it shouldn't be more than a 3-4h drive, even with the breakdown of the car and the time lost when they had to discuss about the guy, who wanted to be left behind. They still should've arrived around noon or just a bit later. But those are all minor things, if they keep up the quality like that and won't go back to magic zombies or stupid behavior, then season 2 could be really exciting. Can't wait for the next episode, but I doubt they will stay there long. Seemed like the guy was already shutting down stuff to save energy and supplies are probably limited too..mmm wait..maybe they'll go back to the guy they left at the side of the road. If he's still alive, then the scientist might have a chance to find a cure, since he lost his last sample and he needs living infected cells..

WOW buddy. Also face palmed when old guy who saw that shit, didn't go like "Hey dude not to alarm you but that guy had his shotgun pointed at your back out in the woods." Other than that I like this show a lot. ![]()

Your best friend, who is also a cop, comes out of the blue in a zombie apocalypse and you've got thoughts of killing him because you wanna bone his wife some more? WOW buddy. Other than that I like this show a lot. ![]() I think the purpose of that is to show you how messed up the people have become after an apocalypse that he would even consider shooting his best friend/cop buddy. At least that's what I thought when I read the comic then watched this episode. For those who read the comic, what do you guys think about the CDC? I'm not too sure I like this path that they are taking but I'll definitely reserve my judgment until future episodes.

Now his buddy showed up and he is basically stripped of all his 'status-making-things', no more girl, no more authority etc. Add to that the zombie apocalypse in general and all the people lost in the attack earlier that night and you got yourself one frustrated guy! Yeah, this. What's up with you guys that want this to be a live action version of the comic? That'd be pretty boring, you already know what's going to happen, how it happens, etc; it's just you watching someone else imagining it instead of the graphic artist. How dull. I haven't read the comics, but just about every single book I've read that turns into a movie, it needs to be different to work in a different format; doesn't mean it's a bad reinvention because it's different. Take Starship Troopers for example, amazing book, movie is completely different and yet still awesome. Take The Road, the movie is almost exactly the same as the book, and the movie was too dull/depressing for most people to watch. Sometimes change is needed. Plus, they can't kill off major characters every episode like they can with the book, all the author needs to do is write the death in. For a TV show, they have to hire a decent actor, tell him that s/he'll only be on for X episodes before they "die", etc. It's just not the same. /rant Anyway, episode 5 was awesome, can't wait for 6. Not everything is right with the good doctor, and I can't wait to see where they take it. What's the big deal with that? It was already twilight, they didn't have any time.

What's the big deal with that? That is common when it comes to horror movies or shows. Characters rarely pick up a weapon or equipment. It was like in the earlier episodes where Rick was stuck in the tank. Maybe the tank had no fuel, but if it did, he could have driven it. He could have used the machine gun that was mounted on top. In this episode, we saw a lot of left over weapons like the mounted machine gun, M16's, armored vehicles, etc. Then again, it takes away the survival horror aspect, but I don't mind too much since it is common in these types of movies/shows.
