Discussing the show and past episodes is fine. Do not put things that have happened in the TV series in spoilers. However, don't spoil things from the books that may happen in future episodes. Put book spoilers in spoiler tags with a CLEAR WARNING that it is from the book.

Why should only the US get the fun of a zombie apocalypse?^^ My point is you can find warehouses, factories, etc. with strong walls and small (or unreachable high) windows everywhere. You can barricade them, weld them shut and cut the lower part of a ladder to the roof with a blowtorch (if there are any). You could even barricade a whole staircase by throwing all the crap of the upper floors into it. You could even raid a department store to get some steel plates and stuff or find a air raid shelter on a military base.. For example the defense of the latino gang seemed pretty solid compared to the pathetic trailer camp. All windows we're unreachable or blocked, all doors we're welded except for the one that was surrounded by a maze of walls and could easily be overlooked from the roof. They probably could stay there forever unless that guy, who got the arrow in the ass, turns into a zombie and kills them from the inside. xD + Show Spoiler + Next season I am sure we will see them in a very safe place to live. Or read the comics and find out. They are not far from living in an American castle.

I think it's very interesting. We're still getting to see similarities to what would people do when an apocalypse happens, like the CDC guy opening the door, or the other guy leaving the group, just in a different method. It's still staying pretty true to the story, without copying every scene. And there's always the option to return to that military base once Rick realizes that there is no cure, demoralizing him. Or the CDC guy could tell the group that the military base was overrun and could show Rick as right and Shane as wrong, to give him a false sense of intellect or something similar. Anyways, the season finale looks real promising. Everyone seems pissed, and they'll try to explain what's going on in the world when the apocalypse started, something that the book didn't do, and will satisfy a lot of people. It's a television series, not a comic. Screenwriters have a lot of constraints. I think the problem with the comic book was that a few parts would be really difficult to actually act out in real. Especially + Show Spoiler + cutting off the hand and continuing the entire story without the hand.
