I remember watching that beat down. You could see the spirit being beaten out of the crowd.

You have a point, if OG did the same thing to LGD in grand final, i would get worried for both OG and LGD at that point.

How do i upvote this?!?!! So damn right!
But you know ... teaching the blind about colours ...
I still think some of the comments here are borderline trolling and it gets me more mad than my favorit team (Liquid) beeing on the verge of getting stomped 1 - 3
you people are implying og/liquid are better than people on forum, you're just being ridic tbh

There is a chance as at least LGD has a clue how to fight OG in an aggressive stance.
This is similar to why i would've preferred DK or EG fighting Newbee than VG during TI4 finals because they at least would make the games look close. Just a difference of style and familiarity
Exact same reason Newbee ruined the TI7 finals when they killed LFY.
LFY i had so much hope about that team. Whatever this is the results we have. Liquid and OG earned it
In any case. LGD's pure dota gameplay is so much more fun to watch and rewarding for a person who loves high level dota gameplay (MOST OF THE TIME). This mongolian garbage style is so boring.
its skandinavian actually
Australian actually, OG are literally playing QO's patented caveman dota right now.
Still had 1 ranged hero in game 2 :/
They would be a disappointment to QO. There needs to be zero range heroes and then play that dota.
Dota Pit Season 4, Korean Dota's highest point. They were so good they caused the great TI6 era Shuffle.
So those are the criminals who murdered the old w33ha secret and arteezy going back to secret again

Forcing opponents to be uncomfortable is the power of good players in every sport
I agree to a point. What I mean to say is that it seems like OG’s way of playing would lose to a team that didnt allow themselves to be bullied into not playing flawlessly
So basically OG beat teams that they're better than, and would lose to a team that was better than them
Not exactly. More like OG strategical approach to dota is one dimensional and unsound in that it relies on their opponents being sufficiently prone to make mistakes.
I'd say it's very fucking sound if it works well vs the best teams in the world.
Thats because you’re so unambitious as to settle for winning. If OG cared about greatness they wouldnt just be content with beating teams that are making mistakes, they would play in a way that would allow them to not instantly lose if a team that doesnt make mistakes comes along
Troll or salt mine?
I’d go with not a fan of the playstyle OG opts for. I find it strategically uninteresting. But credit where credit is due OG is executing their strategy very well, playing well together as a team.

OG would have probably 3-0'd LGD. OG had LGD figured out and TL replicated most of it in the Lowers. LGD is still extremely good, but I think the Home Soil Pressure might have actually been worse.
Far too many people have the belief mistakes are purely technical or strategic errors. Many mistakes are the showing of habits, and the perfect team who has no habits to show does not (and never will) exist. OG exploit habits better than anyone else.

I mean, Liquid did objectively make many mistakes including those that were not directly forced, i have even seen Miracle fail last hitting under tower without any pressure, let alone that w33's use of refraction under nether ward to break his own blink. All it tells me is that OG's psychological game works.
A GF is a high pressure situation, where OG thrives, and they don't get easily rattled..
OG's main stage mental fortitude is why they're here.
