Hero has a long history of being cancerous to play against (he lays invisible mines, meaning he drags out games and you tend to just randomly take damage/die while walking around the map) He's top of the list of "changes how the game is played" and is generally just not fun to play against at all | ||

Heroes usually get disabled in CM when they get a rework and then get readded when IF is confident they're in a good spot balance-wise. Techies got removed when he got his rework and I believe (not entirely sure, I took a break from Dota for a while) he just hasn't been readded since? Not really sure why. | ||

Basically nobody who isn't a complete troll/asshole/memer wants Techies in their games. Not your opponents, nor your teammates. Aui2000 trolled the fuck out of Ehome and CDEC with Techies in TI5, and aside from some unsuccessful tries by Wings Gaming as an offlaner he was understandably never seen again. | ||

Why not go for manta to dispell the silences and then good old Skadi? And if you're gonna skip BOTs anyway, might as well go treads for the survivability and farming speed. | ||
