Newbee didn't deserve the invite. They'd done nothing of real note at the time the invites were given out. Sure, we knew they were going to be better than LGD (who probably got the invite mostly because they needed another Chinese team), but the new Newbee hadn't had a chance to show itself on LAN yet.

Congrats to Newbee on winning a game they really should have lost.

I don't agree with the "should have lost". Their high ground defense was amazing, and they had a very easy time running away from the BKBs/DP ult due to Secret's draft, which is why they kept surviving. Once they had double ravage they could very easily cut off the Secret cores from the supports. And eventually they just outscaled Secret.

While EE made mistakes on the huskar, Newbee overall did a huge amount of work in just stalling.

They weren't able to end the game because of two big mistakes by EternalEnvy and Arteezy, both of which set the game back two minutes each. Four minutes is a lot in Dota, and it was what gave Newbee the time to get what they need.

It was an amazing game from newbee, they were very disciplined. The team making the less mistakes winning is true in every team game or sport. If anything it proves they are better than secret, which tbh does not mean much atm. But their streak means something.

It's really easy to spot mistakes, even more crucial ones. But you know what's hard? Actually interpreting good plays, because at the end of the day there's many paths that can lead to the same outcome and when someone fucks up it's easy to see that, hindsight and all.

Stop relying on EE/Rtz's throws. Any of those could've turned out differently.

Newbee did make many mistakes during the early and middle game. But in the end, none of them came close to the mistakes Secret made in the late game. It's a case of when and what effect the mistakes had. Newbee's mistakes made them play from behind. Secret's mistakes lost the game.

Also it's hilarious how everyone always focuses on the big plays/mistakes when the smaller shit is usually more important, it's just more in the background.

EE's major mistakes were in the midgame, when their draft should've kicked into high gear and his huskar could've peaked much harder. The late game was just going to get more and more difficult for them.

They did win the team fight. Arteezy then ran the wrong way.

So we now have the excuse lol: Secret won if only arteezy something something

Because that's a FACT.

Just look at how many times Arteezy made a HUGE mistake that game.

So did EE. Both made mistakes. That means... Newbee played better! That's why they won, and why Secret lost. Amazing

And Newbee arguably made a huge mistake when they ran out of their base when Huskar popped the aegis, and Secret were able to reengage and take the mid rax off of that. Newbee could've probably held even longer had they just sat in base and waited for a mistake. Their lineup could disengage and reengage much more easily due to Secret's lack of stuns

EternalEnvy made one big mistake. Arteezy made two. It took three such mistakes for Newbee to win that game. I'm not saying Secret didn't deserve to lose and Newbee didn't deserve to win. But in no way was that game decided by logic. It was decided by those three mistakes.

hahahaha i love it

Friendly reminder that Newbee isn't the strongest Chinese team yet.
I think their strategy is to dumpster bad Western teams (c) uriel

Come on 6 0 against Western teams mean nothing.
