We have yet to see the other Chinese teams. They have easier groups - lelz because they put three top Western teams in one group - and I can see a few of them getting through in the top two, but the writing is there already: MDL was not the beginning of China's rise. China's fall into second rate status continues. Think about it this way, had it not been for Ehome, they'd not have won MDL, also. The next best Chinese team didn't even make it to top three. On the other hand, Koreans show that hard work and effort pay off even without a scene. Although I'm not sure they're going to be able to actually win the top Western teams, they're certainly around that level already. And we see, in the end, that Azarkon was right.

I'll cheer for secret for now, since looking at the other groups, there's a better chance for the chinese teams there to get into the wb. edit: Now that they've picked an enigma, no way I can even remotely not cheer for secret in this game. this new 5 man doto with massive ults secret reminds me a lot of old na'vi. I really enjoy it actually. Puppey Enigma is always a treat

I still have a bad feeling about EG vs complexity. Day 1 EG + a team they scrim against a lot. Could go messy.

I still have a bad feeling about EG vs complexity. Day 1 EG + a team they scrim against a lot. Could go messy. This is what you can see, however. First off, they still beat CDEC, so it's not though they are especially worse than other Chinese teams. I believe that they are liable to be worse than the Chinese teams in other groups, but we actually haven't seen how bad those teams are, yet. Second, Eleven isn't even playing a lot worse. It's just that him not being able to carry the team throughout the game is showing how bad the rest of the team has become.
