League is much bigger in Korea compared to Dota 2 right now. Hell I'm pretty certain SC2 and BW are much larger too.

Korea has been about LoL since the server opened there. Though I'm not quite sure any eSport in Korea is quite like peak SC:BW in the 2004-2005 range.
