I don't understand the drafting, why you give LD + invoker when both are top picks, while yourself have zero top pick in your lineup (well, vengespirit is, but she's no core)

Puck is a fine hero for the first 25 minutes of the game. You must have forgotten that Alliance also plays the hero and destroys with it. The difference is that Universe doesn't play the carries Alliance's off player plays. Alliance plays the hero as playmaker while having duo farming core, so hero is not that bad. EG had it as a playmaker with another playmaker and a single core. Yes because Universe doesn't play carries except for Furion. I thought I said that already? I have seen Universe play a fucking Troll Warlord in 6.81 (or was that 6.80), so you said nothing. It did not end well but for other reasons. Yes let's use a 6.81 lost game as an example of what Universe plays successfully in professional games.

Are there even any other farming offlaners to begin with? I mean, dark seer and batrider regularly end up with some heavy farm but they are not what i'd define as "farming" offlaners.

i would put timbersaw there as well. but yeah farming carry offlaners er limited.

I don't consider timber an offlaner nowadays, almost never see him well in 1v2/1v3 situation.

It's amazing how you miss the obvious: that he's trying the same heroes Alliance used to destroy his team, but with differences made for his team because his players doesn't play the exact same heroes.
Universe does play both ld, furion and void... all potential lategame carries
