GG would have done a lot vs the weave and the death ward. 15 armor + a 250 aoe heal is a lot and definitely should be been picked up vs Vega in that match. But hey, boots of travel did a lot of work in that game right? Great pick up by Kuro. You forget that 15 armor kicks in when boys' heroes are at around 400 HP in lategame. If anything, armor is not counter to slardar+dazzle, jumping them first is. I didn't fucking forget anything rofl. Vega's draft was all in on physical dps. To counteract it 5jungz needed to go all in on itemizing against it, ergo GG was a mandatory item. Period.
Except that when you have 400 HP, cutting through it is not much of a problem even with greaves+vlads+ac+solar crest. Long story short: having 15 armor won't win the fight. Jumping first shall.

Both games Vega just goes aggressive tri and both lycan and spectre picks seemed questionable. This game fata farmed and split pushed without even taking the tower while his team was getting mauled.

I think they wanted a tankier mid to sustain those ganks and rotation vega likes to do , Razor is better then Viper cuz he can actually farm so its not that bad

Yeah that's true. I guess in the second game they had a safe lane Lycan but with the Matu ember it seems like a good pick.
