But I'd think the team organization, the manager, the coach etc. are all getting their share. Does anyone know how the split is "generally"?

A few USA chants are fine but please don't do it too much. Stop the stupid USA arguments, thanks. On another note, CDEC flairs are now live. Sorry about the delay on that.

I am fairly certain that players themselves give the cut to organization, at least that used to be in times when ArtStyle left Navi.

Loda tweeted about it and made it sound like the money is sent to the players directly. Their org (EG) took/takes 5-10% cut.

From an objective p.o.v I don't recall Secret getting hammered in the shortest TI match even if they did lose to EHOME and VP. LOL Aside from Empire (as usual) no top team this season has underperformed this TI. EG, Secret, LGD and Vici Gaming are top 6 and they've won 17 out of 28 Premier tournaments last year (and that's counting shit tier Chinese tournaments) If you add Empire, these 5 teams have won 21 out of 28. So this part of the results were at least predictable.

Not only is it the best story of any TI but it would also be what is absolutely without doubt best for the scene Sadly national bias and people loving big huge corporations stomping small people rather see EG take it all Well my reasoning is I'm just sick of EG winning everything or placing high in their results. As much as I respect PPD and how he turned EG around last year to now, I can't stand him, Sumail and Fear (to a lesser extent), and the only one I would technically cheer for is Aui, though I wish he was never booted from C9 to begin with I don't particularly have love for CDEC either considering I know no one on their team to begin with and they took down C9 early on ruining my predictions to begin with, but if it came down to CDEC vs EG... CDEC all the way. But I really hope LGD takes it

Can't say the same for secret since they lost to both 5/6th place teams.

But you do look salty, first referencing ppd's tweet about 6.83 implying EG is better skill-wise than both LGD or CDEC, now referencing eastern nationalism (that exists, obviously), but come on, it's not like we don't have our Azarkons in denial as well.

as far as the east vs west vs whatever goes, it's silly but try an excercise anyway: imagine that you can't place a face to each player still in the tournament and that everyone communicates in english moderately well. if you were to strictly look at the play of each individual as well as the team as a whole, who would you cheer for? i guarantee you'll look for nuances of each player and find tiny little details you like and wouldn't have discovered otherwise. we are very capable of giving unfair levels of bias regardless of whether we realize it or not. this is the sort of thing that a caster has to do on a game-to-game basis. every single person has a pretty different upbringing, yet their destiny led them here and now and brought together by a game of dota. what's so amazing about this game is that everything you see is performed and can be performed by another human being--yourself included, limbs or no limbs, mental disability or no-disability. seriously, just be happy you can watch great dota. it wasn't easy getting this far into the brackets. even i was left salty for a while because i really enjoyed secret's play up until a day ago. it's silly. i realized that for me, it was more important and more meaningful to just cheer for good play no matter who it was. that was for anyone who doesn't quite understand their fandom.
