Honestly, I think CDEC is just going to win TI5. EG can't win without techies lol and LGD would just lose again to their B team.

Es is fine, what isnt fine is letting him go from mid to bottom killing people the first 10 minutes while your supports go into a comatose, I thought people figured this out long ago when puppey destroyed with his roamming es during ks.int days, someone has to counter gank and yet fy and fenrir did nothing both games.
So... what that make you? Good? You're not good. You just know how to hide, how to lie

es is particularly hard to countergank because if you walk up to where you can get completely blocked, a support behind you usually isn't enough to prevent you from dying unless its omni, aba, or dazzle

Those less than unobservant people weren't a significant minority. Almost everyone understood Xiao8 was important even before the tournament started.

It just makes it all the more amusing how many people were saying Xiao8 was washed up and should retire 2 years ago after LGD's TI3 run.

Well he played total crap in ti3 though.

As I mentioned before, i think LGD at TI3 was behind the times where Xiao8 and Yao didn't make up their minds about who would play mid and who would play offlane. So they'd play each 50% of the time, have drastically changing roles/priorities on the team from game to game, and just end up being bad at both. Which led to games where both of them would each lose their lanes because being just ok at both was no longer good enough to play against competitive international teams.

They used to be same organization i think.

CDEC created their own brand.

Do LGD and CDEC still belong to the same organization? Like how EG and Alliance are both owned by the goodgame organization? I wonder if there's a source on this.

CDEC aren't under the LGD management anymore. Maybe they have the same sponsors but I doubt it.

They at the very least still unofficially share coaching/management to some extent. Some of the LGD organization managers/etc. could be seen with CDEC during groupstage.

So basically the AA pick cement their fate. Not like AA can walk from lane to lane to gank like an ES could.

Trying is better than not trying, its just too hard to win if you passively follow a predictable game plan, especially since the introduction of smoke, which many teams dont fully utilize properly yet.

I know Ruru owns LGD and it looks like she owns the CDEC brand as well http://t.qq.com/cdec_rurutia

Damn she has two teams in the top 3 and potentially both grand finalists in a $20m tournament.

AA+Rubick are a potent dual roam though, they could've easily gotten active in the map and even gank the safelane at points. I think VG got a bit scared because the ganks work offensively but it's a really shitty duo if someone turns on them, and with ES+Tusk they didn't want to take chances and go for risky kills. The early game rotations were the most important factor in g3 imo, and LGD obliterated them.

It's basically the same exact organization.

As soon as someone figures out to ban PL and bounty CDEC loses... its what happened in the pool and yet nobody is doing it. They always allow one or the other....

I say let them have leshrac, he hasnt won anything in the main event, and at least it forces them to change it up.

They won game 1 with neither. Next theory go.

But honestly it wasn't their tempo as they played really safe g1 vs EG and basicly won cuse of dat one snowball on mid fight.
