I've hated the smoke/sentry changes forever. So did Alliance, and I remember an interview where they said they were struggling because control of map vision didn't pay off as much anymore because you could just yolo smoke past good ward control.
Yeah smoke change sucks . It's unstoppable. Sure it allows comebacks which is great for watching but i think it's stupid.
I just want there to be fewer of them in the early game. The supply does not run out fast enough so supports can just yolo past wards.
Are you fucking serious? Smokes promote activity. If you didn't have smoke, supports would sit around doing nothing because it would be impossible to gank. Activity in the game is a good thing.
Of course it promotes activity that's why it's great for watching. And i like it during mid-lategames. It's great it allows comebacks . It's just the early game that it sucks.
Dude the effect is that you can't plan against it as said map control actually doesn't matter with smokes and core heroes has to play hide and seek all the time because of it.

it's true though
most random casuals probably don't know many teams other than na`vi and maybe allaince. without either, you lose those random casuals who are probably 50%+ of the viewerbase.
But for others to gain a fanbase you have them to give them time in the limelight aswell. Despite you being correct at this moment, if you keep applying that logic you will never see any teams rise to popularity and gain fans. So fuck the viewers, Valve has enough money to keep this rolling even with a low viewercount. We came here for the best dota and we got it. Let us not be flustered by people who claim that this is bad for the game and the future.

Wow you're actually an idiot. Na'Vi has the biggest fan base of all western teams and probably the biggest fan base of any team. People who watch dota for TI usually only root for Na'Vi it's just natural.
