It sure has shocked me. Yeah, NA Dota better than what everyone thought. Is this 'our' game? Nope, not at all. Well considering I had fully resigned EG and col to be holding down the 0-X spots of their respective brackets, actually getting to the UB, and even beating a few SEA teams is huge, and exciting for me. Especially considering that our other decent team, POTM, isn't even playing. That's still a difference though. Beating some teams=/=the game being "our" game. Also, I'm gonna wait till the bracket starts to say anything. At that point, all teams should be fit and ready to go.

wow, they can choose? wish i could see a copy of their rule book >_<

iG starting to experiment with strategies given they're locked in to Spot 1.

Oh, it certainly isn't "our" game by any means, iG and LGD are clearly a class ahead. That being said, actually doing better than EU in a tournament this big is a huge step in the right direction for NA Dota.
Even if they both fold in the actual tournament, I was still impressed with their showing so far.

Yea i think IG will 90 percent picks EG I think it was done so that throwing a game to get seeded 4th instead of 3rd for a better matchup was prevented.
Ya that makes sense. It was probably done to prevent olympic style matchfixing. Also that is also why they switched fixtures of CLG LGD and CLG EG around. Valve should be in charge of the olympics.

Really not getting this jugg pick by Darer.......We have a jug farming......vs a syllabear. Just who exactly does Darer think will win lategame?

THE WARD TRAP. That's a sad profit...I can tell, I've seen sad profits before.

can anyone link the source for this? i mean that no tie-breakers will be played anymore and that iG can pick who to play?

No, because 1/2/3 could still need to be played for. Just not 3/4 on the respective brackets.

But that's what I quoted and was referring to ^_^'' China is definitely up front but I wonder if they will actually really play the game(the other teams). Battlenet and Steam are quite different... Hm, I don't know when they arrived. So jet lag could definitely play a role. Like, for EVO, it's always a problem regarding the Asian(European) players(especially the Japanese). So they play far below their level, it's kind of sad. Fighting games and DotA are different but still...that's why I'm waiting for the bracket.
