I already feel the Chinese getting a hang of Na'Vi's playstyle. Same old story, same old bullshit. Chinese teams lose a few tournaments before TI2, everyone saying they suck why are they being invited to TI2, etc. etc. Same old story again at TI3. Chinese/Asian teams will likely dominate the entire top 8 again, and the only difference is that you have two Western teams that can compete now rather than just one.

The only question is if they're on-site or not but it would make no sense for them to want to get attention in the scene and not broadcast TI3. That's the whole point of TI.These numbers are huge. Think TI3 will break the numbers. I'm still wondering if Valve will get some Korean casters. Or at least allow them to do it from GomTV studio or something. Teach them like how it is going on for the East and West teams.

Now we will have Koreans, and I assume more access for Chinese citizens + a bigger playerbase for Dota2 overall. With 300 thousand average concurrent players on dota2 at any time, TI3 is going to be huge.

Same story except two tournaments IN CHINA, one of which was a LAN, lost to 1-2 Western teams vs. 7-8 Asian teams. Yup, we've all seen that before. Oh wait.

Edit: Dendi got completely tricked into saying that by xaio8's gf. That's... is actually kind of funny to be caught in the middle between a couple. not sure what all this Dendi being ultra bm in DotA 1 is about, but I've played a bunch with/against him in IHs back in days and he wasn't anything extreme like some people are trying to make it seem.. he was as "bm" as anyone else would be in the scene on average, no more no less.

If you guys haven't seen the director's master plan yet. • Get girlfriend through massive popular Dating show in China (viewed by hundred of thousands) If you guy's haven't watched the show, e-sports in China is not that big and not a lot of people know of it's existence, aside from the stablished audience. • The director not only went once, but thrice, in his Bo5 attempt to conquer ZhaoJie's heart, creating way more attention to the audience. • After finally achieving his goals of having this helpless woman's heart, he then proceeds to break up with her, JUST before the Finals. • All of this accompanied by losing the finals and have his enemy say (in a jokingly way) a phrase that will shake most of the chinese audience, thus attracting way more attention by playing the pity card. Pity and attention does also get woman. Director8, truly a mastermind.

In conjunction with Puppey he was pretty bad. Especially when you consider that the very few that were worse than him were like... Demon... which is saying alot.

Even with a win in TI 3, the Chinese scene is at best able to bring itself back to equivalence. Losing a tournament on your home soil against 1-2 teams from other countries is simply very bad - it's what Koreans do to Westerners in SC 2, and we know there's a lopsided advantage there.

Anyways, xiao8 said it was a joke and not a big deal, but I guess people just really want the drama.

At the end of the day, Dendi apologized, xiao8 from all the sources so far knew it was a joke and accepted it. As long as there isn't any hard feelings between Dendi and xiao8 then that's really all that matters. Fans will be fans at the end of the day. But, I'd prefer for NaVi to take LGD out to dinner ![]()

They looked terrible because they were playing 200+ ping games to SEA (iG and LGD hadn't moved to their new bases yet that had better connection to SEA) or 300+ ping games to USW, when their opponents were playing with much better ping.
