These guys paused in the middle of a deciding fight for some bullshit reason. It's all in good fun anyways. That's your living proof, guys, how bad Dota Western community sometimes is. And if i were xiao8 i would find Dendi and break his hands. It would be the appropriate way to end his professional career. The LGD logo makes this so funny. Take a chill pill dude, dont heff to be mad. It is not about LGD, it's about honor. Ever heard this word? I can't be mad because I expected LGD to lose 3-1, if you care. So you're mad because someone else (not you) got offended on the interwebz, i'm okay with this. Direct interaction is not the only way to affect people, right?

Clearly wether friendly banter or not, the general chinese consensus is out for drama blood.

Still fascinates me on how different games, same website, the perspective is completely the opposite regarding culture clashes (for instance, watch SC2 reactions on these kind of drama).
Fascinating.

Was he really THAT bad in DotA 1? Yes, but everyone was worse in DotA as well. Just what happens when a game becomes bigger and more public, people calm down the flames a bit. And a lot of pro players right now were kids back then, people do change in the end and become more mature(at least some of them do).

Also they're now 3-5 years older. A lot of people are massive idiots at 15-20 years. A little less at 25. And usually it's at 30 you understand how much you were and idiot at 20.

Dendi was obviously just setting Xiao8 up for a date with his sister.

Edit: Dendi got completely tricked into saying that by xaio8's gf. That's... is actually kind of funny to be caught in the middle between a couple. He's only played with the same players for years on end for a reason. And Puppey is no better; in fact, I'm pretty sure Demon pretty much refused to play with Puppey for a long ass time after that whole Nirvana.Int shit fell apart.
mmm I gotta look this up some how. Now I'm interested :p I started following NaVi because of their CS 1.6 team actually. The whole DotA 2 thing came after TI1.

To be fair, a lot of the responses on that site are also "i dont think you know what you said" or "who told you to say that."
Although, the flames are pretty entertaining, LOL

Basically what dendi said, even if it was a joke, was almost equivalent to throwing a pile of dog shit in xiao8's face in front of 200k+ viewers. It's not fucking funny. They might have lost a lot of fans and friends with that 1 sentence.
I won't be surprised if no Chinese team wants to scrim with them at all anymore. Yesterday's BM was acceptable, but what he did just now was outrageous.
One thing about that - they need to get back to the West fast before they lose their advantage and give up everything they know. I already feel the Chinese getting a hang of Na'Vi's playstyle.

Ya it is 2 fold. I don't think Dendi actually knew what he was saying.
It's a plus he quickly apologized to xaio8 when he realized what he actually said was beyond inexcusable. I think the real person to blame here is xaio8's gf for it. I'm glad ChuaN asked Dendi why he said it.
