It helps them a lot. It's a different identity that might capture a base that wouldn't be otherwise drawn to EG. It also means they can have "multiple" teams that don't overlap due to it being a different brand.

I see all this praise for the production, however it does seems to be a little rough in terms of bringing up graphics and communication with the panel members. I suppose it will get better as the tourney goes on.

Should there be a link to the Highwinds stream in the OP? It's pretty smooth and is an alternative if Twitch gets laggy.

If I'm not mistaken, for about an hour of streaming time now they haven't shown the prize pool.
IMO, they should show the prize pool all the time everywhere, so that casual viewers are impressed and stay to watch.
