Because tier 2 teams are capable of upsetting tier 1 teams but are not able to beat them solidly. Were they able to do it solidly, they're then no longer tier 2 teams but tier 1 teams. Dignitas upset LGD 2-0 but losing to Orange was entirely within their tier rank. So you're saying SEA isn't weak then? Orange beating Dignitas means that they are fully capable of beating a Chinese Tier 1 team, and since they took a game off a super tier Na'vi team, they clearly can't be weak then right? So how is SEA weak again? o_O On average, SEA is the weakest region - No SEA team left in the WB The worst team in the tournament is a SEA team 2/3 SEA teams dropped out during the Prelims Orange, the one SEA team that has been doing okay this TI, doesn't look solid at all vs. top Western and Chinese teams.
What if TL by some miracle loses to MUFC tomorrow (which I would hate; I want TL to do well)? That means no NA teams in top 8. Orange is already guaranteed to make top 8.

In that case, NA is equally weak. Won't be a huge upset to me because NA has never been that stable.

SEA is at least equal to NA , if not better tbh. I mean, in term of players, at least we have guys like iceiceice, Mushi, Yamateh. I mean sure, they're pretty inconsistent, but they're some of the best players in the world.

I won't dispute that for now. We see how well the best NA team is able to do tomorrow.

This whole game is so inefficient from LGD.int
|
this whole game seemed pretty desperate from lgd.int thus far. from the offlane ancient puck and predictable smoke ganks, i guess this is a good example of why they fell off.
still, game's far from over.
