and yes... chinesse casters are somewhat angry because Dendi freaking owned them Nothing to do with being angry or not. The gameplay is intended but the visuals not matching the effect is unintentional. That part is the bug that we're talking about. Oooh, now i get it, yeah they should fix that http://dev.dota2.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=17556&d=1376126547
There it is to have the link over here as well. Hao gets hooked without the hook projectile that can be seen ever touching him. That's the bug, not the gameplay mechanic behind it.
Basically this allows for invisible hooks in certain scenarios (or rather one hook that is visible but not hooking you PLUS a hook that's invisible but actually hooks you). Pretty damn mean if you try to dodge it lol.

It might have been a little difficult. Navi did not have great tower killers. Xboct did not have strong items yet. They could have responded by buying damage items from secret shop etc and go for throne. But then Alliance would just be happy with 2 melee raxes and TP back. Then jockey to force fights against Navi. Navi might win the initial fights, but buybacks will ensure an eventual team wipe. Then they still end up 2 Raxes down.
Simply put, Xboct wasn't fat enough to be that big of a threat against Alliance and their throne.

[A] actually took both melee and range raxes on BOTH top and bottom lanes.

It kinda showed Alliance's resourcefulness actually. In most games CK has to snowball or he'll die off, but because Alliance messed up their start, they had to switch up their strat and the double push was a great improvisation.

Same. If you see my old Alliance threads, I shit on Bulldog all the time. But his Prophet/LD games have really impressed me alot, especially with the item choices. But I still think he plays a junk Mag/Bat/Clock/Naix.

Necro Book is awesome since it also boosted the creeps. Movement speed!

If you think that Navi throwed the game you need some more Dota 2 time Navi actually outplayed Alliance the whole game till the million dollar Dream Coil (aside from Dendi dying at Rosh). Then they loss whatever advantage they had from that moment. There was little chance Alliance would win if the Dream Coil didn't happen. How about first Rosh? If by first Rosh you mean the one where Dendi died and Puck got Aegis, then I have already mentioned it above. You have said about Dendi dying, I was talking about his teammates. It was Alliance who outplayed NaVi from that moment till the end of the game.

valve never intended to implement fountain hooking. it wasn't in dota 1. valve just left it there because they think didn't it was something that needed to be changed.

Yes I know. I said 2 melee raxes, 1 at top and 1 at bottom. They could forgo the range Rax because it's not that important. They would need to TP back (at least in CK's case) and slow down Navi's throne rush.

Fun fact: timberchain works with ToF.

But they werent really snowballing Alliance, they just got a "decent" lead (i say that in quotations because that lead only need a good Alliance team fight to be almost 0) that was completely countered with that Rosh + team fight

They thought it was hilarious until they realized that it had a tremendous impact in the game vs Tongfu, not to mention that fountain hooking is confirmed to be invisible/disjointed/w.e you want to call it.
