and yes... chinesse casters are somewhat angry because Dendi freaking owned them Fountain hooks are intended, but there is an issue with the hook being viable if it is done with a force staff or at the last second. They will fix that, but you will still be able to hook gryo to the fountain.

Why is it being considered a bugged now? Navi did the same thing last year at International 2. Hell it been part of the game for long long time and they decided to now claim it is bug? Kinda confused -.-

I quickly checked the bug list and it's not a bug. However you can block pudge hook with astral titan, good to know :p His source is the Chinese stream; one of the casters mentioned it apparently. I didn't catch it though so I can't confirm.
Not the most reliable of sources, one would imagine that yames would bring that up if it was the case.

Once more, gameplay mechanic is intended, visual bug is not.

Get ready for elder titan meta Best finals ever, NaVi so godlike. Shame that LGD Int & IG had such bad form coming into this. Looking forward to the Chinese tournaments that should be popping up later this year.

and yes... chinesse casters are somewhat angry because Dendi freaking owned them Yes, fountain hooks are intended.
However, when Pudge gets sent back to fountain, the hook's position is displaced back toward the fountain, resulting in an "invisible" hook where the hook visual comes from the fountain, and doesn't follow the same path as the actual hook (visually it appears as if the hook is curving toward its target), which is the bug.
It's not a gameplay bug, but a visual one, but with major gameplay impact in that scenario.

About when should we get announcements on future competitions this year? There should be a month of break for the players, then the Big shuffle of teams will begin. This time DOTA2 is more popular so i predict more tournaments, to i think maybe in 1 or 2 months we will have more tournaments. Well there aren't many dota tournaments on the table right now. Nobody wants to compete with The International.

and yes... chinesse casters are somewhat angry because Dendi freaking owned them Nothing to do with being angry or not. The gameplay is intended but the visuals not matching the effect is unintentional. That part is the bug that we're talking about.
Oooh, now i get it, yeah they should fix that

If you think that Navi throwed the game you need some more Dota 2 time Navi actually outplayed Alliance the whole game till the million dollar Dream Coil (aside from Dendi dying at Rosh). Then they loss whatever advantage they had from that moment. There was little chance Alliance would win if the Dream Coil didn't happen. How about first Rosh?
If by first Rosh you mean the one where Dendi died and Puck got Aegis, then I have already mentioned it above.

I think we all just witnessed the absolute best tournament finals for any esports tournament.
GG Alliance!

FWIW in the groups there was also a mag skewer relocate send back into fountain.
Anyone know if this works with chen as well?

Navi had the game won at the point in time that they were pushing in. They then made a fatal mistake. Unless if you are trying to argue if they didnt steal the aegis then they would of lost sooner therefore no opportunity to dream coil(butterfly effect), then I guess you are right but I disagree with viewing the game in that light.
