Chen is confirmed as an intended change for DotA 2 however the visuals are currently bugged. edit: KotL/Kunkka/Wisp/enemy Disruptor actually. I just started a few days ago and while I'm of course still horrible it helps massively with understanding what's going on in the matches. Worth it just for that imo. | ||

The equivalent to mass cannon -> carrier in SC. You'll still enjoy it, and you'll learn it as you play. The heroes/items come quite quickly, but they aren't requirements to have fun with the game, IMO. | ||

Just FYI, though feel free to confirm with your Chinese source. | ||

I'm not sure if it was 'intended' as in they were fine with the gameplay mechanics, or that the developers thought it was funny and decided to leave it in. Alot of semi-pros/pros were pretty upset with the way Na'vi won against Tongfu, and many were pretty disgusted actually (Loda in particular). I'm sure they were extremely upset when they realized that the fountain hooks were actually invisible. | ||

To be fair its not really THAT hard, just start with some "easy" heroes like Sniper, Drow, Lich, Spirit Breaker, Ursa maybe to learn the mechanichs of the game (Last hit, deny, items, tp, etc...) and when you get enough "knowledge" out of the game you may try some other ones | ||
