lich is "easy," earthshaker definitely not so.
other heroes i'd recommend checking out are skeleton king, windrunner, sandking, and antimage. they arent necessarily EASY but get strong quite easily

I told my brother who has only played LoL to try out DK and he's having a good time with him. Maybe it will be good for you too. Think try stick with the Strength carries, they tend to dominate pubs.

Sometimes my mouse cursor glitches out during a game, and stays glitched in Windows. The only way I've found to restore it is to reboot, which I dislike to do. Anyone had this/know how to fix?

Iv had that problem all the time but it only happens to me when I alt-tab. It doesnt bother me in the least because i like having a smaller cursor and it just feels more precise to me. I think its just a known bug and we have to wait for valve to do something, not sure though.

i have something like 2k lol games
so even tho im lost (and i confess im completely lost) in dota2 if the hero gameplay is similar to one I played it worx
strangely enough i did good so far with windrunner and lifestealer xD and did 2/12 with anti-mage =(

Is there an easy way to detect which image is real after someone uses manta in dota2? (not by checking aura or whatever) I seem to remember there was an animation trick in dota

Damage and tendencies. Some players like spamming their hotkeys regularly out of habit so post manta they might deselect their images temporarily. Damage is fairly obvious, either done by the images or taken by the images.
That said, I hate the multiple unit selection interface in Dota 2. Playing Chen/Enchantress/Necros is like significantly more difficult.

Agreed, I wish there was a way to say, hit tab and it cycles through all units selected to use their skills. One game my friend played Lina and DC'd, I was playing CM, and I was controlling both heroes but I just wanted a way to move both but hit tab so i can switch back and forth between the fucking bevy of Q's W's and R's of the two heroes. It was hopeless.

i had zero problem with chen, can u elaborate what function do you miss? there are a couple of custom commands not in the options menu available only via .cfg config but i think all unit command and tab cycle works the same by default.

The unit selection icons. They're placed right above the hero portraits with little icons. There's no clear indication what unit you had selected or what will be selected in the middle of a team fight when you cycle through your units. I never used the tab function in Dota 1 since the grouping function was ass and illogical at times. Basically, using a specific unit then back to multiple units and then back to a specific unit is pretty either different or just poorly coded.
The necros are too fucking dark and pretty much have camo in a team fight when you pop them.

Agh's for dark seer lets teammates replicate in the wall, example? Well the only one you'll find is Navi vs J4t and that shit was fucking ridiculous. Plant a wall just outside tier threes, have teammates run back and forth, since the replicants do 90% attributed damage which scales the whole game, and as soon as it dies it instantly replciates again. This is just for your teammates though, if you vacuum in even just 3 enemies, it means there are 13 heroes dealing damage to the tower and eventually the barracks. Theres no way to fight out of it.
