I've lurked before but only just signed up today because I want to make a thread about this note-taking app I put together for tagging dota players. The issue is that it is in early-access for patreon supporters right now so I cant post a straight up download link, but im happy to pm the link to anyone who cant afford to donate or wants to try it first. I think a lot of liquid dota users might like the concept so I want to let them know about it, answer questions, and see what kind of discussion it brings up. QUESTION: is this allowed or will my thread get removed for breaking the advertising rule x.x

If your stuff is free, I can't see it being a problem.

If your stuff is maybe commercial, somewhat shady, unclear - then I'd not bother, it will most likely end up getting removed.

IMO, make a blog post instead of a thread. Self promotion tends to be a bit more lenient there.

depends on the pull u mean but pretty sure u can get every pull available as melee, chaining hard to easy is not easiest pull to do but doable i think

Dire safelane can pull the wave to the small or large camp. Chain pulling from the small camp to the large camp is possible across the board, though obviously its easier with a troll camp because ranged attacks. Not sure pulling to the small camp to the large camp is possible without hacking through some trees.

u can definitely chain by first pulling small camp and then pulling hard camp to small camp in dire side but it has a very tight timing.

Where do you report bugs to Valve? I was offering free coaching to my teammates (much needed coaching I might add) and then this happened:

your backswing will never cause you to attack slower anyway, because the front and backswing all scale with your attack speed. the lack of backswing doesnt matter, because if you're attacking a stationary target, you don't need to animation cancel anyway, and if you're attacking a target thats running away, you should be telling ur hero to move in between attacks anyway

theres something ive been wondering for a long time - what happens if you acquire more attack speed during your attack animation than you had when you started it (by tread switching or what not) - does the attack animation "speed" up or is it calculated based on initial attack speed when you started your attack?

From testing it out from the bonus client I'd say it speeds up. Tested with ES and moonshard instant-buy, which seems like a rather extreme test, but it barely shows.
