Also on a separate note what are some tips for farming a contested lane safe lane (2 vs 2)? Is it worth the Carry pulling if the support wont or is the loss of XP not worth it?
Thanks!! @2.: Depends a bit on how contested your lane actually is. Unless the lane is impossible, pulling the creepwave with creepaggro and getting extra regen is the way to get cs in these lanes.
If I pull the wave as carry I almost always farm the enemies' wave under my tower. The reason is that for an aggro lane the risk/reward heavily leans to contesting a pull over trying to kill a carry farming under the tower.
XP wise an early wave (3 melees and a ranged creep) gives roughly the xp (215) of a hard camp (~213) and a little less than 2 small camps (~240). So if you pull and the enemy contest and drive you off, they get double the exp if they lasthits your wave. Changes if they share it with anyone (like your sup f.e.) or miss a bunch.

I will keep working on pulling creep aggro and csing under tower.
I will have to be less greedy and grab some more regen when the occasion calls for it (courier usage always a blast in pubs!)

What's a nice constructive way of saying hey stop being so childish and toxic - you're playing a teamgame if you're not putting what's best for the team ahead of anything else you're doing it wrong?
Usually I never say anything but I was wondering if you guys had some magic phase that will make toxic morons start behaving like decent human beings?

Hey dude, pls stop being toxic we are all trying. Proceed to mute him for the next 5 mins and unmute him back. If it doesn't help, just play your best, if it's a 100% loss practice stuff like new ward spots, farm on the enemy jungle, watch map movement, think about what you could've done better. At least it'll not be a useless game

Flamewars aren't helping" is what I usually write. Sometimes it helps (especially if it shuts down the reply from the guy who is getting criticised), sometimes it doesn't.
Also after 2 or 3 strikes I mute them and recommend others in my team to do so as well. It's better to play 4v5 and have some fun than to play 0v10 cause everyone is tilting like crazy because mister edge is bleeding so much.

I usually just tell people to focus on the game and not argue because it won't help us win. Works about 3 out of 5 times I'd say.

If you have a farming hard carry in the safelane, is it safer to take the enemy T1 early or leave it up. Some time ago (couple years) I learned that it's better to leave the enemy T1 up if you have the lane to yourself because it makes it safe to keep farming the lane as much as you want. Is this still the case?

Wait what? Leave the tower so it attacks your creeps and their creeps come back to a safe place faster? I don't think that's better, nor safer. But with shrines who cares if there's not a t1 in offlane to tp on. That's my opinion: take it, supports appreciate that very much, and you can always move the safelane carry to another lane/jungle for a bit and keep going back to the safelane to farm, whenever it's worth. Anyway, this patch makes so you need to fight more and earlier, so giving 200 gold aoe could help your supps get mana boots (or whatever) wich will allow you to win a fight.

The issue being that taking the T1 puts the lane equilibrium somewhere under the enemy T2 tower where it's easier to get ganked

Your carry can always farm jungle (not as efficient i agree). After 3 camps or 4 his lane should be closer to your t1 again, wich is safe enough. But in the end being carry this patch means boots->transitional item asap(10~12min) -> fight fight fight

Is there any stable way of chainpulling on dire nowadays? I tried, but i could get like 2 creeps in 30% of the cases with 3 trees cut minimum. Which really isn't what I want as sup.
@solidbee: Depends on the game, if their mid is missing/they got a lot of jump ready and you don't feel safe, keeping the equilibrium can be beneficial. Also pushing is generally not advised if the other side has someone absorbing the xp if you can't really push the tower yet. You don't want to give the offlaner free exp if your sup can't stackpull (uneven minute)/chainpull (dire).
If they don't have anyone in your lane though and you see most of them on the map, go for the tower. The bonus gold accelerates your team and you can just pull to drag the lane back to your tower after their tower is gone. You definitely don't want to farm next to their t2 unless you are intentionally splitpushing.
