"Let's make it look like we practiced the "pubstack coordination level" strategy guys!" In all seriousness, this is some rollercoaster ride... Sometimes it just clicks, few minutes later people don't know if they should be buying back, a core is farming jungle while we should be pushing. We also love to be all-ining the tankiest heroes with aegis :D I wonder what awaits us on the mainstage.

Another draft where I felt it could have been run with some old players... Yup, matu lifestealer and miracle ta. I still do not see the need for changing matu. In this ti, our strategy is no strategy.

Maybe w33 is way too emotional and vocal and they are getting hyped alongside... Don't know but going upper bracket is highly unlikely. Got to win all 4 remaining games, AND some other things have to happen. Actually now when i did the math if we manage to 4:0 the rest of our games there is a pretty good chance - we will be with 8p with TNC with 7, Keen with 5, and Alliance and Mineski have to play eachother. So Tiebreakers are pretty much guaranteed, and if Chaos manage to take a gam of Newbee, we can even directly qulify, As there will be 3 teams fighting for the 2 upper slots left.

Considering Liquid goes 4-0, any two of Alliance, Newbee, Mineski can go 3-1 & Liquid will be in lower bracket. For tiebreaker, two of these three teams must lose two maps each. Mineski plays both of them, Alliance & Newbee have second series with LGD, Chaos respectively. Still lot of scenarios could happen.

But we MUST 2:0 TNC. If not there is a high chance we get VP in a Bo1 and thats a disaster. So the only way that we dont go tiebreakers if we 2:0 TNC, is if Mineski AND Alliance both 2:0 and thats highly unlikely, so i'm gonna say a bold prediction if we manage to 2:0 tnc, we have a pretty good chance of adfancing. It will be hard though, as if they win 1 high chance of Tie for them, if they 2:0 us certain top bracket.

Having a rough start into a tournament is nothing new and yes, watching some of these game literally hurts, but as a supporter I dislike the idea of immediately talking about roster changes or Kuro being too old and whatever else. It's just not fair. Most people supporting this team are proud having a squad which stuck together for so long and an organziation that is of course driven by success but also is loyal to their players. And again a sc2 reference: Take a look at players like TLO, Mana, probably Taeja or Snute which will never win a(nother) Tournament but still remain a part of the family. For good reason! The Dota Team tho is on completely different level. Winning mayors and getting high finishes every time is all you can ask for. In the end there is also some math and luck included. Just look at other sport franchises. go Liquid!

While this being completely irrelevant for Dota, there is another rule. Never underestimate a liquid team! It's harsh but if you're going to remove your most likable player right before TI, you'd better perform well or the community is going to make fun of you. Frankly w33ha is not a better player than Matumbaman and he hasn't shown himself to be a dominant mid or a game-changer. I wouldn't be suprised if they start looking for an up and coming mid right after TI (if this core stays together at all). Loyalty isn't as relevant in a team game where you're constantly trying to fit puzzle pieces as opposed to an individual game like SC2 where you'd only change teams for money or opportunities.

Thy aegis come. Thy will be done, in the lower bracket as it is in the upper bracket. Give us this day a series win; and forgive us for doubting, as we forgive you for some wacky drafts; and lead us not into an early elimination, but deliver us another aegis amen
