GH is such a delight to have on the team - so positive, doesn't give a fuck really just happy to be there

GH seems really stable mentally, Kuro is really experienced Guess what the other 3 do would be interesting to see All year long they were either in the shitter rebuilding their team Or crushing everyone once it all settled just as the favorable patch that got enough space to Matu and Miracle hit No real high pressure period in-between where they'd get tested And now they won a TI so they literally don't have to give two fucks for years to come... So yeah I'd like to see that too, how MC/Miracle/Matu have grown since last TI where all 3 succumbed to the pressure Sadly we didn't see that, and never will now that they are TI winners

So they have to be drafted in the same group. As after couple of games Liquid will shine once again. Two months are way too long without games. The good news is that two months full of Liquid are coming. Lets see some good dota, some new strats.

Don't underestimate our opponents. They all are good teams, and they are prepared. The good news is that they only have the TI games to prepare, and Kuro and the boys definitely got some new strats.

That's inevitable after winning TI I'd be pretty surprised if we manage to get to the finals even at starladder

Good thing is our group is not that hard, and there will be time for a couple of warm up matches. Even losing one series is good so we will have the chance to play third match before the Secret / Newbee one.

I'd imagine the professionalism of a team/organization has a lot to do with how teams behave after winning large events.

Well it's just that most other teams have either re-shuffled and scrimmed like crazy to make the roster set or went through tons of competitive games in qualifiers already. You can be professional all you want, but that inevitably is a strong handicap

In EU it was Secret and OG vs. trash, China had Newbee, LGD, LFY, IG, IG.V, VG fighting for every spot. Sure, in dota there's no way to say wich team is better before lans start, but anyway, Newbee is coming from a region with wayyyy more solid teams.

Surely the professional decision would have been to compete to maintain the top level instead of taking a two month break like Alliance and Newbee did after they won.

All other teams practice like crazy so far including runner up NewBee while our players are on vacation for almost 2 months. I don't know about that either, Blitz said liquid players were playing pubs nonstop, and who knows if they were playing scrims or something like that.
