Thing about col is that while they have been slowly but surely improving, the rate is much slower than their peers. They seem to lack that extra something to edge out games. Too many good performances but not converted into wins.

Something happened with the draft preparation for Newbee. They gave them pretty much all of their comfort heroes and so Newbee just ate them apart.

I didn't get a chance to watch the series against Empire, but the charts suggest it was closer. But the drafts seem a little off from complexity. Maybe they just have read the meta wrong, but they're looking at an early exit from Manila, pretty assuredly.

I think they are in a bad mindset at the moment. DC just defeated them 3-9 in their last engagements RIGHT before the major. . . They feel tilted. You see odd laning decisions. Missed spells out of nervousness.

I stopped watching after the first game vs newbee. Hope they wake up but I do not expect much ... Mindset is huge.

After watching the SL games against secret i think its safe to say that swindlezz needs to put some serious work into his laning skills because he set the ball rolling for secret to take game one, and he didnt feel like an impactful player game 2 (which should never be the case on a BM imo).

Underwhelming lineup for EE. If he couldn't accomplish much with abed and dj (not even dominating SEA), I'm not sure what he can do with this stack. I like zfreek, but he really needs to move to a good team.

Not a fan of EE playing support(mainly cause i wanted to see him play carry and that i believe his shotcalling is carry-oriented) but who knows how this will turn out.

He made NTH work as a support so it's not out of the realm of possibilities.

Idk i said the same thing with NP 1.0 but his still managed to actually land a 2nd place finish on a tournament. It's kinda weird how he managed to actually finish top 2 at least once on every single roster he played.

That Fnatic team was never on the same page. Given EE's fairly micro-manager-styled approach, he's probably better off trying to run a team from the 5. I also think moving to the 5 should let him develop through some of the issues when he was trying to run things from the carry position.

Also, in a dose of reality, ppd's stack is in EU and there's 3+1 slots to the first set of DPC LANs. If EE has spent a week working on his warding, he'll be able to easily turn games against the rest of NA competition, minus EG & SVG's stack. That's a pretty "easy" path to at least the first Minor.

N0tail was originally a 5 on EU Fnatic wasn't he? IMO i believe that shot calling should always be made from a support position. As the hard-carry, EE would've been too distracted by looking for places to farm and avoiding being killed.

I never seen Skem play but assuming that he got some talent I think this team could surprise.

Since I am of the crazy opinion that Limmp is an under valued player that never got a chance in a high caliber team, and that I would put Zfreek in a similiar category.

A lot of people were really underwhelmed by this roster but I don't think a full team of allstars is what EE necessarily needs to do well. Most of his teams over the past few years have had strong peaks but were plagued by inconsistency, I think he just needs a roster that clicks.

I wasn't too impressed watching Skemberlu before but EE probably knows a good carry player when he sees one.

Sneyking is good enough for this team, at least for now. Even though he was underwhelming, he still got top 8 at TI.

In any case as a Jacky Mao stan, I'm pretty happy with this team. Can't judge them fully til Skem has been in NA for a while. I think the move back to pos 5 is good and I think compLexity is an incredible org so I'm hopeful.

Skem might be the starplayer of the team(assuming that guy is actually good) but i feel like EE will have to look for some other pub player 1 pos player considering the visa/travelling issue situation his pinoy carry seem to be facing.

We might not likely see this current roster ever in its possible with the plaguing issues the pinoy player faces

Jeyo has been standing in because Skem hasn't been able to come to NA. I think his visa application to the US hasn't gone through. Not sure how long it should take. It's not a regular tourist visa but a more permanent one (not sure what exactly it is called).

But they did say that Skem is able to come to ESL and Dreamleague so they'll play with their full lineup at those events. Though at this point they haven't played a single game with Skem so it might take some time to get used to. ESL at least has a pretty extensive group stage with lots of games even if you don't do well so it's good preparation before the minor.
