CyborgMatt also said they will be playing in 1 LAN tournament in September. I assume it's the thing in Slovenia.

Difference is that Secret shuffled even more players and did worse at TI, but still got the invite to New York.

Thing is, it's not that bad or uncommon to invite a team based on player names alone IF they've each had recent success with other teams. When Secret was formed, they were invited to some tournaments right away, before they played anything. It would've been a waste of time to have TI champs battle tier 2 teams in qualifiers, though they did that as well for other tournaments. If it's not TI, I think it's fine for individual player success to count towards an invite to a tournament.

In retrospective, Secret decision to bring Artour and zai was 50/50, they won some premier tournaments but failed and crashed in their big objective, and now Artour and zai come back where they came from. Now the big question will be: Who will be Secret sub for this season, Cyborgmatt?

He should seize the day now when dota is popular. Who knows how big dota is when he is finished with school and he can always go back to school later. I don't really think he understands how much more fun playing dota is than a regular job: Especially if he has the chance to make much more money at dota.

He specifically said that he had to finish school this year or have to start over from the beginning in the future. It makes a lot more sense to spend 1 year finishing school, then being free to do whatever he wants.

If he has X number of subjects left, drops out, he can go to Komvux later, take those missing subjects and graduate. Does not need anything else. You need 2200 points or whatever it was, how or when u puzzle them together doesn't matter. Subjects are worth 100 - 200 pts.
