Who does this thinking? What your role, Gustav's, 1437's? I'd say, we all have some thoughts. During the draft, Gustav chooses a hero, if needed, I advise him - that's all. Artour is also helpful. He knows his role better than anybody. So, he can come up with something.

Anyone else feel like Secret is a team that is dependant on momentum, building up to a peak and staying there churning out game after game relying on their indivual skill and experience. The TI format with all the downtime might be what's hurting them. They are overthinking their matches and just not playing enough dota to get revved up.
Game 1 was them throwing. They got afraid they might lose so they did nothing for 20min after trying to brek highground and letting EHOME into the game completely free. Well deserved loss due to nerves, they played to not lose instead of playing to win.
Didn't see game 2 so can't comment on it but, game 1 was a very uncharacteristic breakdown with such an experienced team of 2 TI winners, 1 finalist and 2 3rd places....
I also kinda doubt they had studied EHOME in any way. Well the swag bitt them in the ass, 0-2 and now they have to fight to stay alive. Either they wake up or they crumble under pressure.

Feel like a hero like Viper just isn't S4's hero. Static hero that doesn't open or create space and plays. He's always been best at heroes like Puck, bat, QoP that can initiate and make stuff happen, not static farming stuff. It's like Dendi playing razor - waste of his talents.
They might want to avoid playing 2 series against EG although I doubt that's really the case. Both games are outdraft, in game 1 secret had nothing for the storm and game 2 axe was really out of place as he cant lane solo against ww/gyro.
I really dont understand why they ban both lina and qop in both games as they should have picked one of those instead of viper / axe

Vici looked solid against clown9, they were far from solid against navi yesterday. Secret can totally win against IG and COL, they 2-0 both teams in the group stage. But they need to play better than today.
I just tuned in the second game when the Axe got a 3 man call, that COULD have turned the tide, if RTZ would battlefuryslicing through them ... but he was split up from the rest of the team ... could have been a turning point BECAUSE of Axe!
Also in the first map pick/ban the commentators even mentioned it: Secret picked single target heroes, but EHOME got the team fight! In both maps they were superior in that regard! Secret has to pick more for AoE dmg! QoP could be very strong in that regard and S4's hands, gyrocopter for RTZ, ... or if they are single target, take more "disruptive" ones. Clinkz with Orchid or Drow with Gust (think about it if in the first game ww or phoenix would have been silent and the wombocombo wasn't there!)
I think they need to play more 'skillbased' heroes. S4 viper is retarded, give him a hero he can actually make plays with like qop, storm, puck etc. This goes for pretty much every player on Secret.
The truth is Secret got outplayed! They were leading 20 minutes into the first game with a significant lead at such an early point in the game, but they managed to somehow whither their lead away.
They also didn't force the push as much as they should have and were still trying to smoke gank with 3 heroes to find pickoffs even though they had a significant lead.
If they were able to take 1 rax by 25 minutes it would have guaranteed them the game, but they went for some silly risky plays trying to pick off heroes and got picked off instead, with Ehome running as 5 the whole time.
