PPY plays quite the Chen or Furion I must say and BigDaddy plays whatever he desires, S4 can prety much play anything mid, KKY has been playing a different cary almost every game now, Fly I think he needs more off-lane heroes.

Does anyone know if any players (including those from Secret) have said anything about their scrim records?
Puppey will pick mirana and shot arrows in their faces
about their scrims, we only have EE saying:
What do you think about all the new western teams?
We already beat Secret Team in scrims. I actually think they suck but apparently they own everyone else. They do decently well with everyone else. Obviously they're not as good as people say they are just based on the star power. You'd think they would dominate everyone but none of them are used to their roles. Everyone switched roles except Puppey, like even Kuroky is half support half carry. They don't really understand their roles and I don't know how much time they'll need to adjust to that. Hopefully for them they don't lose too much. If you lose too much, even though you need time to adjust, you can't because you're already too negative.
But they got REKT by TS like one week after, so I guess EE is just talking shit...
Well, EE doesn't say when they scrimmed and considering the first showing of TS it's not unlikely that they had similar performances in scrims around that time.

still needs a crown(championship) or a showmatch with EG .. i think
just like when EG used to have 90% winrate last year(pre-naga nerf era) .. they were still considered lower than alliance and na'vi since they can't secure a win in the most important games
I wouldn't be surprised if the team sponsor was Redbull. They've had a long and dedicated involvement in extreme sports, they've dabbled in individual player sponsorship and their website has a section dedicated to eSports.
I actually like the Team Secret name though, but as long as they get a good sponsor and stick together for a long time I'm happy. (Kuro and Puppey are my 2 favourite players, and I'm a fan of BigDaddy after the TI4 EU Hub).

TS doesn't really need to beat EG to get called the best team, but at least they have to accomplish more than them. At the moment, EG has lost 2 series since TI4 and won the only big tournament they took a part in, TS won a bunch of games against tier 2 teams and some against tier 1 teams...
Looking at them they might be the best western team, but calling them that when they have played Na'Vi 3 games and C9/TT/Alliance/Empire once is kind of stupid.
TS has won a ton of Bo1s and as Jan/Feb 2014 Empire showed, winning a lot of group games doesn't always translate into long term success. That said, I see no reason why TS wouldn't continue to do well as long as they stay motivated. Unlike "old" Empire, their members all have tons of experience and all are known for playing better on lan than anywhere else.
I think their performance at both ESL + SL will show a lot (obviously) but I think it's also important not to over-hype/hate cause of 1 tourney. The sum performance at both lan tourneys will be a very good indicator of how far they will go. I do like that they're very focused on the tourneys they go to and not just entering everything they get their hands on. Tournament games and officials are no substitute for practice and scrims.
