They have a LOL Team now which should be expensive. I still doubt they can / want to afford Secret. I agree with your other points: Big tech company or EG. | ||

Even giving a cut to sponsorship organization, they are throwing a considerable amount of money away if they never get sponsor money. Puppey said he wanted to change things; never getting sponsored changes nothing as almost no teams can get away with that financially. | ||

If they want to be bought, than it would make no sense to get minor sponsors on their own. They could live out of their own pocket probably but flights + hotels still cost a shit ton of money. Why should they not take sponsor money? | ||

I would never pay salaries to a team if my brand or sponsors cant be visible. Maybe its a new company thats in the making with a big launchdate somewhere (that dude from 100tb or something), but then it still would be extremely wierd. So i assume that they are not sponsored yet because their asking to much, or what is offered isnt worth being shackled for and so long they are winning some prizemoney (without giving teamowners a cut), all is well in camp secret. | ||

All of this is absolutely possible. I just like to think of the possibility if it were not the case, and why. Maybe there are some not well understood perks of being without a sponsor. And with how big prizepools have become, simply being a tier 1 contender seems to have a very large payout in a lot of situations. Simply being able to be ITM or "in the money" at an event like DAC or TI5 might be enough contingency for a team. 8th place Navi TI4 made about as much as 2nd place Navi TI3. Come TI5, and things like DAC ect, just being tier 1 competitive seems to pay well enough and some. However, it is indeed just speculation. I just like thinking about if not, then why  | ||
