Upper bracket is totally doable. They can even manage to take some games vs LGD/Liquid/EG (which seems favorites of group A).

If only manage to get 1-1 with Empire and Infamous, the risk of going lower bracket is high. Example:
Secret 1:1 Empire
Secret 1:1 EG
Secret 1:1 Infamous
Secret 1:1 TNC
TNC 0:2 EG
TNC 2:0 Empire
TNC 2:0 Infamous

Score is favourited to TNC
Risk of lower bracket is high for secret.

After day one, upper seems hard to reach.
They need to win match EG/Liquid/TNC (atleast 2 of them) ...

Exactly what i have said. In round robin, we need to win 2-0 against weaker team and we cannot afford a draw 1-1, thats reason go to lower bracket.

Hard loss for them (even if they weren't favorite)
Hope they stick together (atleast, Midone seems he's gonna stay)

Puppey made big mistakes G2, G3 with his last picks..
PL I'm alch lane is just weak, and he already had CK who could swarm him without dealing with nightmare acid spray in lane...

And then Luna vs Legion/Troll/Necromancer just had to run from fights with full HP bkb on and mid ultimate

Think if he picked something like Razor both games it'd be way easier to retain the awesome laning stage they had over Liquid , then face empire and the Whole TI be different.

So yeah at least Puppey/Yapzor/Midone can stick together and do great

Even though Yapzor more or less already reached the GH/Jerax/Lil big impact Jesus support level and should get loads of offers

honestly for once I doubt they'll change roster, they have big potential and there doesn't seem to be obvious personality problem/clash

series against liquid was close and it was the little thing that made the difference

Secret seemed to play really well at times. I hope they stay together for the most part. The 2018 season will be so action packed so they will have a lot of opportunities to polish their play.

Team secret has kicked both.
I'm sad for Khezu, he has improved a lot over the year and I belive he has more space to grow.
I like him, but for sure he is not at the moment one of the best in the word.

About MP he was solid, but I belive not enough to help Team Secret go back to be dominant in the scene.

If they managed to get Resolution they'd have a really solid team. Not sure who exactly they could get for offlane

Khezzu is a nice guy. The same with Bulba, both are nicest and most sincere personality in the scene. But in the end, DOTA is a bussiness. Reality hit me hard in the face this time

Yes, kicked both Khezu & MP. They are good but they are not good enough to bring the team to top ranked tournament.

Tbh, if we wanna achieve great in tournament,we need players with at least 9/10. Imo, Midone, Yapzor are 9/10, Puppey 8.5/10, MP 7/10 and Khezu 6.5/10. Same goes to Fata & ace, they are only 7/10. I think Shadow (9/10) and zai (9.5/10) are better option.

I've hoped for Zai offlaner till the end.

I've mixed feeling about this new roster.
The new players could be an upgrade but I'm not sure they are enough to win major tournaments.
