I am a fan of both football (soccer) and hockey but you don't stop being a fan because your favourite player/players leave the team. Even after 10-20, even longer than that the fans still stay true to their team. I will always be a fan of Alliance, doesn't matter who's playing in the team.

Things didn't work out for him. That sucks. But also, that's life, move on. As for people talking about him getting screwed over for TI5? What were his TI5 chances exactly if Alliance didn't pick him up? Yup.

The thing is when the players or group of players you follow leave the team you are just following the pretty logo and the name that the team has which i don't really care about. I get invested on the players behind the scene's personality and good dota they show together. Like in some things it makes sense like for example google has a very good standard so if one of the key persons like for example the CEO leaves it doesn't make the company shit ? No that's because what the company was good for or what it is is still there they still produce good stuff and still have high standard. but in dota it's different. Think about it do you still care about DK ? when the entire roster all star roster aren't there anymore ? i doubt it You are basically following the brand not the good dota and the personalities that has attracted you in the first place. Basically it's just the skin now not the meat.

Never like loda, he was a mean racist back in the day and feel indifference to Akke.

in football, baseball or whatever we don't actually feel so close to players, because we don't see them tweeting, streaming or interacting with fans on a daily basis. in esports we get attached to this, that's why people cheer for whatever sing, envy, arteezy or whatever team is
