Are we 100% Valve won't wait for SL before the invites ? i feel it will be the best way to see who deserves it the most as all the contenders are there ...

The major qualifiers are before SL so that is not possible. Invites should come out in the next few days. A bit silly that they haven't come out already, would be nicer for the teams if they knew for certain where they stand.

one thing A got going for them is they won a TI and are extremely popular team in addition to winning WCA which was really big... hoping for the best.

alliance are borderline imo, won a big tournament but haven't done a whole lot else I don't think?

Edit: Upon further thought they should probably make it but it just feels kind of weird, I don't really know why.

I agree that they're borderline. If they made it I would be extremely happy, but I also wouldn't be disappointed if they didn't and had to go through qualifiers
