But if you didn't like the narrator, the game would be hard to get into. Transistor was also great for its story, but I didn't like it being locked behind styles of playing the game. Edit: but fuck all that, you should play banner saga, because it's a good and super mean.

Bastion was repetitive and begged you to use their different weapons that were either plainly worse than what clears shit the fastest or it was quite simply easier to dodge roll past everything. The art, was good, the level design and levels were quaint and cute, but I would never play it again. Don't get me wrong, I have my own pocket favourites like Machinarium or Osmosis. I mean, have any of you played Hawken? That's a pretty sweet multiplayer game. I even enjoyed Fez which felt a bit dragged out, but they did so much less with Fez, yet accomplished much more "wonder" and intrigue than Bastion which dangled its "big surprise" 50 times. Transistor was at least subtle about it, but not Bastion. Each narrated level read like the worst Agatha Christie book (and I mean the shittiest one) I will say Bastion added a lot of bang for the buck, the handicaps, collectibles, etc. It added challenge because it wasn't challenging, just frustrating key choked areas that were annoying, not engaging to overcome. I literally go out of my way to try and play as many diverse games that gets hyped up as crazy. This was not the most disappointing, but I definitely felt people herald it as something amazing when it was hardly so. It nailed a lot of traditional things that every other dev overlooks because it's "expected" but also kept other aspects one-dimensional and the story was still rather plain. Transistor was pretentious though, like I'm meant to study it for my Eng. Lit class or something.

Damn, now I want to go back. Maybe I'll play it on my phone, since I hear that version is pretty fun.

Really, most of the weapon combos work, even the mortar. But if you didn't do the dream stuff to get everyone's back story and the rewards. Damn, now I want to go back. Maybe I'll play it on my phone, since I hear that version is pretty fun. Yes it is. I've only played three Zeldas (finished two): Ocarina of Time (Master Sword, never finished it), Phantom Hourglass (DS and the train sequel one) and Wind Waker which is my favourite. I also have the CD-I Zelda game if that matters.

Then they slowly incorporate new gadgets/dungeons, contextual stories (more or less on that last part)

always same goal etc etc i feel liek Zelda is not repetitive at all - Exept the storyline who is essential in Zelda - cuz each versions have something new : graphics story dungons weapons gameplay etc etc for example each CoD are the same! CS doto sc2 wc3 etc BUT the point is that Zelda is not a competitive game, so he can change a lot of thing without losing fans ^-^

In other words, you're just jamming that in there without it being really relevant to this thread's current context and relation to everyone involved.
