I imagine it comes from a good place. These powerful celebrities probably genuinely want to help people but all they really know how to do is talk in front of a camera.

And to be fair, I didn't watch it, but I suspect as long as they're not going political, which is like the only way to solve the underlying problems - with people getting ill in the first place, stigmatizing them for it and then not having a safety net to help em get better -, I don't see anything meaningful coming out of it. And let's be honest, it's an apple+ programme. That's not gonna happen.

I'm an amateur screenwriter and if by some miracle, I manage to find success in Hollywood, I'm going to put my money where my mouth is and donate all of my proceeds to trans people that need it. It's not enough to just raise awareness of us, we need to survive.

I think you just have to try and help people in your life as individuals. It seems much easier to have a real impact that way. When I was a kid my mom would let old friends who had become homeless sleep in our basement for as long as they needed. I think doing things where you help someone directly is how most people can actually "make a difference," whatever that means

I finished divinity 2. The encounter design is insanely good. Every single fight feels like it's own unique puzzle and never like a grind. I felt like the story was a lot less engaging than the first game though. The first game had a lot more travelling between pocket dimensions and elemental planes. I don't know why they took all of that out of the sequel and kept it to boring countryside's and cities the whole game.

Like you said, every single right its a puzzle on its own, in fact, on harder difficulties you need to REALLY plan ahead, like almost to the point putting each character in specific places to take advatange of whats to come. And it has a beatiful soundtrack, especially Rivellon.. the first time you hear it, makes you feels like there's such an adventure to come I can't get enough of this game and i think i'll play it again on switch now lol (it runs REALLY well for a portable device)

I found that even medium difficulty required a lot of very careful planning in terms of positioning, builds, and itemization. Almost every encounter has some mages with aoe spells that will blow up your party if you start the fight in the standard close formation. I really felt like the story of divinity 1 was better though. Divinity 1 was silly where divinity 2 was melodramatic imo. I don't think divinity 2 had any side quests that are going to be as memorable to me as the talking well in divinity 1 that asks you to travel to the elemental plane of water and kill the Ice King. nothing to do now but wait for baldurs gate 3 i guess!
