I might eat my words, these changes might be retarded but I'm starting to like it still need more time to actually see how the game evolves but so far yes it looks like icefrog is heavily using the stats from their database to do the balance, in which i guess he can now cover the balance of the game in more aspects overall (at this stage i think it is pretty apparent that he has a small balance team now, some changes were not quite icefrog-ish). This exp/gold change is gigantic; back then (since this year), every team fight would net the team about 5k exp/2.5k gold lead (in which i suspected that icefrog designated that way from using their stats data) but now ya roller coaster all the way rofl. This change is more interesting when adapts to different drafts/heroes too because the 'economical timings' of heroes/line up are more critical ever than before. and don't worry 6.82a to 6.82d will be pushed out soon to iron out the ridicules, as usual. | ||

One fight we lost 2.5k xp advantage to 7.5k xp disadvantage. Crawl our advantage to 6.5k then bam! => 4k disadvantage. I don't know what the gold difference is but their lion has aghs in 25 minutes with no farm and negative kda. ![]() | ||

I am sorta imagining the plays you could potentially do with 2 chakrams- that entails having to know exactly which button to click to pull back which chakram. In other news Elder Titan is Aghs Ulti is really good against teams with 2-3 sources of right click dps, assuming you can land the ult. I'm still undecided as to whether it's worth the money, since that's a huge assumption. ET ult hardest spell to land in gaem. | ||

Hello guys, I just tried out the new 6.82 patch on a practice lobby and I noticed some "glaring" asymmetry of the dire offlane and the radiant offlane. I know that Dota 2's map isn't perfectly symmetrical. Here's what I noticed: Warding There's a ward spot near the Dire Offlane Tier 1 Tower - this doesn't exist in the Radiant Tier 1 in the Offlane. There is elevated ground north west the secret shop but it seems to be bugged, placing a ward there makes the ward appear "buried" and isn't given elevated vision. I tried placing a lot of wards there but it gave the same negative result. This makes the Dire offlane tougher to play since the Radiant can see the rotation or if anyone tps to the tower and react properly. Trees During night time, the Dire's Offlane Tier 1 Tower can't see beyond the trees to its West and the Radiant can actually sneak in the tree line and plant a ward in the ward spot there, then help gank. If I'm not mistaken, even during daytime, the Tier 1 Tower at the Dire Offlane can't see over the tree line, making ganks from the river to the secret shop then to the tree path behind the dire tier 1 really irritating to deal with. Also, note that there are 3 paths from the roshan side to the offlane side. This predicament doesn't happen for the radiant offlane. The Tier 1 can see you as you make your way from the lane to the secret shop, and the ganking path from the radiant secret shop is only 2 and they are both relatively far, compared to 3 of the dire offlane. Ganking the Radiant Offlane will be tough since it's a 50-50 call if you want to go via the north path (leading to the t1 tower) or the south path (leads to the path between the 2 towers). I want to know what you guys think about how the offlanes will be played. As someone who plays support, it's difficult to decide where to place the ward when I'm on the dire side. Placing it at the river east of the rosh pit is viable since it gives you vision of anyone coming in from the radiant jungle to your secret shop to gank. However, if that gets dewarded, it's difficult to stop ganks (esp if the other ward was placed elsewhere). Placing the ward in the spot south east of the bottom rune spot (the one to the east of the medium camp there), gives vision if there are gankers behind the treeline (note how the tree line has good gank angles) but it doesn't show if there's a gank coming from the river to the secret shop. Placing the ward near the tier 1 tower isn't good at all since it may be too late if you see a gank coming from there and you're too far away from tower safety. So, what do you guys think? How will the offlanes be played, how will the warding change for the dire offlane, and how will teams gank the offlanes? Discuss. | ||

If you don't know yourself which Chakram you but where whiteout having an indicator, you probably won't be able to do any ofthese Plays anyway. | ||
