Plus the longer duration of swipes, the change of it to a non-uam, etc.
The blink change was HUGE for ursa too.

I mean ursa almost casts earthshock twice as fast now, it's really not something to just ignore.
It improves his initation with blink so much, especially since you can pre-cast overpower.

Not to mention with the new overpower with cast-time you can use it to cast enrage WITHOUT using its cast time(By casting overpower->enrage you instantly cast enrage without using its casttime).
It's pretty neat and leaves ursa using his entire combo slightly faster in the end infact.
From the Ghastly Eyrie I can see to the ends of the world, and from this vantage point I declare with utter certainty that this one is in the bag!

No, since I was saying how nerfing heroes not used at the competitive level isnt something new, old examples are actually better.

Earthshock used to have an annoying cast time compared to what it is now.

I really like where the hero is now. Earthshock is great, he can Rosh and stuff, and you can manmode to hell and back. He's actually a really solid mid who farms ridiculously well with only a little bottlecrow and can actually just run down the enemy mid if they step out of position even once.

Want another one? Sniper was exclusively nerfed in 6.65. Sniper was never OP. Meepo also received a huge nerf when his net stopped affecting BKB targets, and he wasnt exactly dominating competitive games or pubs. Even Techies was nerfed one patch.

Didn't we long ago accept that pub win rates are not a reason to change a game back in the era of WoL in SC2? Or at least, its never a good reason because it just makes the game dull, flat and boring.

No, since IceFrog clearly cares about pubs when balancing. There is one this thread will like. Remember when Tree was completelly abscent on pro games, had one of the highest winrates in pubs and IF removed the damage on the ult?

He also completely changed how living armor works and lowered the cd for his ult drastically.

Meepo has always been broken. Just hardly anyone ever played/plays him properly. :3
