Spectre farms at the same rate as anti mage, easily. Just because anti mage has blink doesn't make him anymore viable then spectre in the sense of farming ability. Nothing more needs to be said :D ok, first off a core item on am is a bfury these days, meaning he can clear out creep waves faster than a spectre with radiance, secondly he has a higher ms so he can get to the creeps faster, third yes blink matters a lot since he can blink around in the jungle and clear it out a lot faster than spectre and he has a much better attacks animation and a lower BAT, yes he's more viable then spectre in sense of farming you make absolutely no argument except that Im awfull, nice arguing..
I heard Haunt is a nice skill to have....when you can be on the other side of the map...and still be a relevant threat...then with a TP you can come back to your farming lane...with their team no where near Spectre?
Just because you can farm faster theoretically doesn't mean you actually get to employ said advantage. Spectre sitting on the other side of the map while your team pushes a tower is one of the most backbreaking things about that fucking hero farm-wise. Interrupting Spectre's farm is infinitely harder than interrupting AM's.

am can farm faster than spectre thats just a fact, Im not saying he's a better hero but you are making a point that has nothing to do with farming ability

What? His point has the same point as blink helping AM's farm. Blink makes AM more mobile and farm more efficiently. Haunt allows Spectre to not be setting up for team fights, playing the tower tug and pull game and only come into the fight when necessary. That's just as relevant as blink helping AM's farm.

Super hard carries like spectre and Phantom Lancer completely annihilate entire teams. AM cannot do that.

am also sitts on one side of the map while his team pushes a tower on the other, he just cant come in to help them like spectre, but his farming ability is better....

The farming ability depends on the player not the hero.

In the scheme of the Dota 2 beta, you're saying AM cannot annihilate entire teams.
Are you in Dota 2 beta at all? Have you been playing for more than 2 weeks?

Well, If I'm playing with my friends, absolutely . I've been playing dota for years now.

Are you in Dota 2 beta, I don't care how AM is in Dota 1, its obvious with the full hero pool he gets shut down properly but are you high, stupid, or just talking out of your ass when you say AM cannot annihilate entire teams.

U MAD.
If you can't shut down an AM you suck lol. He gets nasty if he gets a bkb and even with a bkb the effect lasts for a few seconds.

Well that answers the question of whether or not you're in beta. I guess in your eyes if a hero CAN be shut down 1 time out of 10 on average in the beta, that means that you must never lose ever huh. You must be the best Dota player, and your friends must make up the #1 team in the world since you know how to shut down everyone in every situation perfectly because it CAN be done.

Any combination of heros with stun.

I'm really not going to mind anything you say about the Dota 2 beta unless you play it, let alone at any sort of mid-high level. If the best players in the world can't maintain a even a 25% win rate against teams that have an AM currently, from the international and eswc, as well as statistics from matchmaking. Then you can't either, not with the current hero pool.
Plus my point isn't even that you can't shut down AM, its that you're absolutely stpuid if you think that AM can't single handedly deal 80% of the damage done in team fights that end up in annihalations.

I didn't mean that Doom is a direct counter, I meant more that Doom bringer can shut AM down during teamfights.
You know, until AM gets a heart and becomes unkillable even with doom. Everytime AM gets picked on my opponent team, I know that its a race against the clock, if we don't win fast enough then there is a potential that AM will just rape us.
|
Well, if you have Doom on your team and you're against an AM team you damn well better be Doom'ing AM lol, if you don't then you're out of your damn mind.

Buy dagger with lion and earthshaker. Gank him. Stun lock him. Win the fight. How is that difficult to do?

The shortsightedness of this post gives me a headache. Wards, missing calls, map awareness are all things that don't take place in DotA.
