anyone know how to get store hotkeys back? I was messing around changing what I thought were my skills qwedfr or w/e etc but then it took them out of the store hotkey section and I can't find how to rebind them. I've deleted my config hoping dota2 will create a fresh one but it just starts the game with a bunch of empty slots.
Here's what I mean, any help would be appreciated:
For anyone interested, my DotA Key giveaway last night has obviously ended, but since the thread was closed I'll announce winner here in hopes people will find it (so they don't keep their hopes up or think it was a scam).
Logan Fillon won the key (don't know if he's a TLer or someone from PlayDota, but grats to him).
I'm so sad, one of the people who got my key is always playing League of Legends.... at least I got a game out of it. I was in the first wave too, so very few people were playing at that time, hate to see a key wasted like that.

then dont give them out in random giveaways, there's a list on TL of people who want to play, but you people have to act like you are the shit cuz you got lucky...

Couldn't resist. Not really his fault, he gave the key (randomly from what I understand) and the person wasted it. Hardly acting like he's ''the shit.''
Long time Dota 1 and new HoN player, got in Beta on Thursday and it really didnt take too long to get used to the new engine. I'd say after my 2nd game i was more or less comfortable. Some of the finer things still take some time, my burrowstrikes were a mess my first couple games.. all in all after about 20 games this weekend I'm super solid in the engine.
Some obvious flaws are matchmaking is a mess, I routinely get matched with 3 people who have never played before vs. a 4 man + 1 random group just get curb stomped. I'm not sure if beta is using any sort of MMR but I hope it's improved soon. Also wins and loses and hero usage stats don't update properly but it's not ultimately important for beta.
In game errors I haven't found many sometimes I get some very unplayable lag but I can't tell if its client or server. little glitch here and there like a creep not being visible or showing low health then it pops up to high health. All very minor things. As a beta this game is great and I cannot wait for the release.
More like you don't understand how MMR works, you and 9 others are more than welcome to wait 30 minutes for a game complete with randoms of similar skill or you can get a game in. It's not flawed, it's the player pool it has access to is incredibly small, 1700-ish players on a Sunday night?
As a ~1700 HoN player, I'm finding most of my games incredibly easy.
I was very interested to see how the skill levels would be (and whether or not people with lots of dota1 experience would have a big edge). In my admittedly anecdotal experience, it seems like those who were reasonable HoN players are having a pretty easy time with the beta.

So, I'm at 1700~ hon player and I get the exact opposite. My team for some reason ends up feeding so much that there's always that half decent carry player on the other team that gets fed to all hell and makes it impossible for me to do anything

Depends on your team in fairness and alot of new to MOBA people are playing as well... Once alot of keys start rolling out or come the full version it should be more interesting.
Yeah, I've had some League of Legends team mates, but I mostly play with one or two friends from HoN so we can usually outcarry any handicapable folks on our team.
When solo queuing, I ALWAYS play either a carry or a semi-carry. When all else fails, just rice like Testie and you have a decent chance of getting too big for the other team to deal with before your teammates lose the game.

Yeah that gave me more success. I started out playing pure support for random teams since I didn't want to farm. Ended up going like 2-7 due to randomness of team picks. Then just started picking Mirana, and was like "fuck ganking" after a few games. Then was just like "okay time to be broken" and started picking Anti-Mage.
Lol Flame. I read the Anti-Mage guide. Is he really that hard to counter in the game right now? I am a huge fan of Clockwork myself, really love that hero. But my true guy is N'aix. Can't wait to see what he looks like when comes out. ^.^
