How is that difficult to do? once lion and es both have enough farm for blink daggers am has 75% magic resistance, a vanguard if he made it, or a bfury and they have to both use all of their spells to kill him, and he has to have a very bad team to support him and bad map awareness for that to happen anyway, but ofcouse lion and es with blink daggers can instagib a single hero at most of the game, but once he gets a bkb thats a different story The farming ability depends on the player not the hero. assuming the same farming skill

My current dota2 record is 55 creeps in the first 10 minutes (and a kills). That's more than enough for dagger + wards + boots. Why cant you acknowledge the fact that you are getting pubstomped?

Stop with the subtle brags because nobody here actually thinks you're any good. You can try insulting the forum or throwing out these bullshit numbers but nobody knows or cares who you are unless you're playing and winning tournaments.

I just don't follow any pros because they are whinning bitches 50% of the time. Remember when SC2 was released? T was imba Zerg was imba and Protoss was imba.

AM can be stopped obviously, but in this current hero pool he's fucking retarded to try to stop relative to other carries.

Edit: Yes, this is a rag on your skill level. You're playing with midskill at best in Argentina.

Early and mid game AM will destroy Drow though, its so much easier to shut down a Drow with no real escape mechanisms compared to AM's 50% spell reduction and blink. Do you really think that she develops faster becuase thats something I absolutely disagree with. Yes... her DPS growth totally outshines AM. Drow with treads+yasha around 10+ minutes is a far more dangerous threat than AM at that point in the game.

So far I have just played some bot games to try to get into it, however the different item system and the various differences is allot to get your head around at first. Would you suggest I hammer out practice bot games for a long time? Or just dig straight into multiplayer and in all likeliness drag some games down with poor play? Got to start somewhere right? :<

They also both lose to him in straight up fights unless they can gain more farm than him, which just doesn't happen. Basically nobody in the current pool beats AM on equal farm, aside from MAYBE void, unless they outfarm him, and nobody outfarms AM, therefore he's pretty broken without a full team of 5 focused on beating him. Neither Drow nor Bloodseeker have tools to survive ganks, which is why you almost never see them at higher level play. Why this talk about needing to outfarm AM with bloodseeker? I don't know about you, but I personally hate carry bloodseeker. I play him almost exclusively as a semicarry/ganker, in the vein of night stalker, abusing the low cooldown of rupture. BS's skillset just makes farming as an AM incredibly difficult, even moreso than a blink lion imo (you don't need to wait for 2150 gold, and because BS can reliably chase if the AM manages to blink out of a gank attempt, while the lion is left with no recourse).

Got to start somewhere right? :< Pick a hero to play, and play a few bot games with it. I suggest lich, cause lich is a really simple hero, i mean it's hard to mess up with lich, so he's a good hero to start out with. Even though this is a DOTA 1 guide, i think it will be quite helpful to read a guide like this one: http://www.playdota.com/guides/without-a-trace-of-warmth You can look up the guide for any of the other heros here: http://www.playdota.com/guides Have fun! EDIT: Oh you probably aren't familiar with dota 1 items, you can see what they are here: http://www.playdota.com/items EDIT 2: Actually you are better off just reading this: http://www.playdota.com/guides/welcome-to-dota-you-suck Obviously skip the stuff that has to do with warcraft 3 dota, (except controls)
