Gives great stats, ms, as and has a great active, whats not to like, if you arent farming very well its the perfect item to go for
|
pomt isnt a good 100% guarentee stun ganker so most of the time team picked her as a semi carry. This mean that you need at least 2 DPS items stepping into late game to actually deal sm dmg... Not even counting that you also need BKB to survive...
overall not a big fan of her :-/ but the ultimate instead of smoke is awesome though @_@

So I was thinking of this after playing some games today and trying to carry. How do you guys carry in pubs when you have a team of people that don't want to initiate? Since in playing the carry you don't really wanna initiate either. So team fights turn into this "someone decides to man up, usually the other team" kinda fights. And then we get wrecked. I'm really enjoying playing razor lately but it's just so hard to go on someone when no one on my team wants to man up and charge in there.

You can simply control the out come of the entire game by good ganking and winning teamfights.
dont try shits like AM or furions, it require your team knowing how to turtle while you farm up and thats often too much

I had a guy say this the other day. MoM basher riki. I was not impressed.

either pick void (you can initiate with your ulti), mirana (tell your team to go in with your ulti before you pop it, most of the time pubs can do that at least, and a lucky arrow can mean you get an awesome initiation), or AFK farm until you can 1v5 them.

I had been messing around with Rhasta and QoP but it always seemed that no matter how my early game went/ganking went. It was never enough to seal the outcome of the game. Maybe I just need more practice.

The best thing bout Abba is that all his supportive spells can also be used offensively and that he doesn't need to care bout himself thanks to the ult. Going Urn mek vlads pipe hex is like crazy good, seriously, just get a good dps to heal with all that shit.

Smoke up a team of 3 and just catch their key heroes off guard and maintain the lead to take tier 2. This is where pub normally fucked up bc ward and smoke are not commonly seen and you require a good disable line up to pull off.
Rashta, QoP, Invoker, NS are just perfect to get the job done.

@NB off topic on talking about heroes and pubs. How was playing against Blitz and Catz? I saw the end of that with you playing Veno and what not.

Did you use your ultimate before he Decrepified himself?
The Poison Nova debuff is based on the WC3 spell Phoenix Fire, which is a physical-typed debuff--so even though the damage done is magical, gaining physical immunity (via Decrepify) dispels the debuff. So while Decrepify would amplify Venomous Gale damage, dispelling Poison Nova should cause him to take less damage overall.
Note that Decrepifying yourself BEFORE Poison Nova doesn't prevent the debuff from being applied--and causes you to take more damage as expected.

Wow, that is a wonderful example of how Dota 2 is waaaaaaaaaaaay too complicated in an unnecessary way. Sure I get used to it quite quickly with all my videogame experience but srsly, they should "simplify" the game drastically. More experienced players will still rape newcomers no matter what, but the learning curve is too extreme.

The real question is if this is still like that in dota2

I'll be honest, I don't actually know if it functions this way in DotA 2--just positing why an experienced Pugna player might have Decrepified himself in that scenario. I know that certain mechanics that were a product of the WC3 engine HAVE been simplified (Batrider no longer gets immunity to certain spells from being a flying unit, orb effect interaction table cleaned up a ton). A lot of these complexities aren't really intentional, and are largely a product of the limitations of the Warcraft 3 engine. Certainly, insofar as many of them are minimally relevant to balance (e.g. making the orb effect priorities more sensible won't change the fact that you rarely want to stack orbs), I think Icefrog is already making an effort to simplify.

Nope. I don't want a simpler game. If I wanted a simpler game I would still be playing sc2.
Am I the only one who's having problems with the owned.tv streaming site? It crashes my pc.
Oh btw, South American servers were released. The problem is that I get lower latency on US EAST (330ms vs 180 in USEAST)
