tbh now i think of it next.kz didnt pick to counter but more like they practiced a specific strategy and just go all-in on it. For example the pudge pick after naix in game 1 is too too too ballzzy... 2nd game is WD after chen enigma...
On the other hand i really dont like how EG is forcing enigma in their line up as a replacement for furion. The number of successful blackhole each game is always less than 5 not even counting how risky enigma is to use plus require dagger. I bet if they went easy on the ban-pick they could squeeze out rashta easily or just run leshrac like dignitas would be cool too.
The current dota2 meta game is yet being affected by the most imbalanced heroes in the dota pool: shadow demon, sylla, panda are still out there. Terroblade (not sure if still imba?), TC(being remade), abaddon (#1 babysit), meepo(wtf) are not here as well. Biggest hero that could change the entire meta game of dota2 atm will be KoTL. Once KoTL hit the field, push strats will need to be redefined.

All those intricacies will be much easier to see when the heroes come in one by one. Meepo's gonna be so funny :D

Meepo is an interesting one. He has the potential to be insanely strong, but there are very few players who have explored his potential very fully.

The Korean music discussion is in fact not the General discussion thread of the Dota 2 forum. Dude seriously you need to stop , read and think before pressing the reply button.

Should this be interpreted as an encouragement for Dota2 live threads? It would be very cool but it's hard to decide a priori whether enough people will gather for the thread to be viable. Maybe the number of stream viewers could be used as a rule of the thumb--if it gets more than 15k then the event warrants a live thread and we all move there? yes, i think a live thread per tournament would not be out of line

Every time someone says "YOU DONT THINK THIS HERO IS GOOD??? WELL WAIT UNTIL YOU SEE ME DO THIS BUILD" I just want to bash my head through the fucking wall.

When do you even run into the problem that warrants "you dont think this hero is good?" I mean most heroes are pretty good in pubs.

Obviously haven't seen my 5x messerschmidt techies TROLOLOLO, nah but seriously most heroes are good you just have to find a way to make them work in comp play, (MM anything goes) and while standard builds are standard for a reason there are a lot of out the box builds that are legiT^

Ok so small pet peeve. Everyone always talks about how good Invoker is at level 16 with aghanims, but isn't it level 17 that the level 4 invoke is available? Not 16?
I tried checking playdota for the hero listing but it doesn't list what level the skills are available, and I'm downloading Diablo 3 beta so I can't play a Dota2 game without lagging badly right now lol.
