You don't. At least you can't 1v2 it. Probably will need an Omniknight or Dazzle with you. Even then it's still tough with heroes currently in dota 2 pool.
And Bane is one of the best lane control hero anyway. There used to be a very popular strat with Bane solo mid and roaming Potm. The opposing solo mid can't even touch the creep because he will just get nightmared and hit with 5 second arrow out of nowhere.

Bane taking sleep instead of stat often have 0 mana to spam their skill so it shouldnt be too much of a problem. Mid game on just avoid going alone i guess... its a waste having 2 heroes skill set just for 1 kill so you should always win teamfight if you have enough disable.

Yeah i agree. I find Bane often gives you a very misleading sense of advantage. You feel like you are doing well with bane on your team and have the advantage over the opposing team , and suddenly during teamfight , you still lost easily because bane is a non factor in teamfight most of the times. I guess that's why he is not used anymore.

don't get nightmared out in the open, and if you do your lanemate has to take the debuff asap it's not that strong of a lane once you learn how to position yourself pretty much any kind of strong stun/slow + pudge is hard to deal with, but bane has short range on everything and has mana problems early on
val's guide is pretty outdated

@dtz That's true...since we won the game after lol
edit: how does the lane mate take the debuff? attack click?
|
Btw, you can't attack a teamate in order to remove the sleep from him and put it onto yourself, iirc, in dota2. Is this a bug or an intended change?

This is not a change - this is how it worked in Dota 1. Anyone attacking the nightmare'd unit, even an ally, takes it.

Yeah, I know, you didn't comprehend my post. It's not working like that in dota2. You can't attack your teamate. The game doesn't let you.

icefrog wouldnt agree :
• Does not stack with Cranium Basher.
• Does not function with other Cranium Bashers, Abyssal Blades, Troll Warlord's Bash, Slithereen Guard's Bash, Faceless Void's Time Lock or Spiritbreaker's Greater Bash

Probably not optimal but none of those are bad. This is what I use right now then I just adjust based on current meta and things I find while playing dont buy too much into it though... some of those build are not used for noobs or very very situational... me personally prefer quelling blade on PL bc its like a mini battle fury which help u get rad much much easier. Also huskar has so many build and should always be justified depend on your lane and your team. It's meant as a reference, but how's PL got anything to do with DotA2 and how is hood + Armlet not a Huskar build you'd want to go pretty much always? hmmm not sure about hood on huskar... most of the time people prefer lifesteal husk rather than hood fire :-/ With only 1 lv in spear to 'keep your HP low', your DPS always go insane to finish off multiple target... after armlet either rush BKB or buriza depend on how much disable the enemy team have. this is what i stole from sing_sing stream: Show nested quote +skill: 1 W (spear) 2 E 3 E
after that just E and stat, ulti get normal.
item: 2x gannet of str tango+potion 2xbranches
get boot first or mask of death (morbid?) depend on how much disable they have on their team.
once got life steal, you can either lane or jungle and proceed to get MoM (yeah MOM ~_~) MoM->phase boot (wtf?)-> armlet(15->18 mins) -> buriza(god-like) -> 2nd buriza (2 lanes mega) -> GG :-/
once you cant take any more stat and have to take 1 level of Q, use that Q lv 1 to rosh.
really? I'm quite sure that he didn't add W at all when he did jungle huskar, or maybe it was a different game.

I'm quite sure that he didn't add W at all when he did jungle huskar, or maybe it was a different game. actually 1 lv W is very useful in life steal build since you want to keep your HP bar constantly around 40-50% to get the extra DPS. Early lane control is huge too, but mostly its used to quickly reduced your HP to 50% after the life steal farming.
i remember he was mumbling: 'ah i took quite some HP there'-> proceed to turn on W -> 40% HP -> turn off.

|
early w is just for lane control you don't want your hp at 40~50% unless you enjoy dying a lot
there's not much to discuss about that item build; it's pretty obvious he was just screwing around in a random pub game
