Well it just seems like Blizzard has given up on the Diablo series. With heartstone, Heroes of the storm, WoW, and Sc2... blizzard doesnt seem to have the man power or resources to invest in diablo it feels. They probably shifted all their talented designers and programers towards the other franchise and left the worse ones to work on diablo. Its either they are stupidly dumb or they just dont get it. The bounties, and adventure maps is good and all but if they dont fix the core of the games nothing is going to change. The core are skills and items and nothing was even mentioned about these two things during blizzcon they just avoided or brushed aside any interesting questions. By the looks of it, the NEW loot 2.0 is the same thing as the first itemization attempt they made... BIGGER numbers and some gimmick legendary effect but nothing that will change the flaws of this game.

That's only 5 new items (the rest were yellows/lvl 70 version of existing) out of however many new ones, and they could have easily been the more boring ones rather than an indicative 5. You have to consider that this is Blizzcon, the biggest blizzard event of the year. The diablo 3 panel and the Q/A and the items they showed should be the fruit of their hard work... but everything was uninspiring and they dodged so many questions that it felt they have nothing to show and nothing is being done over the past 6 months. Im worried that with the core mechanics and flaws that all we will be seeing are bigger numbers because that is the only direction they can go. We are already seeing 500-1000 in a single stat....dont you think that it is so weird that you need numbers this big to make items useful? in the next expansion we might be seeing 5000 in a single stat. To me that is just wrong and very poor design. With ROS they could have done something yet they arent doing anything to change the fundamental flaws of this game.

With a useless main stat, it's easy for quirky and gimmicky stats to be useful. With a useful main stat, the quirky and gimmicky stats need to be more powerful to overcome the main stat. With main stats more available everywhere, the quirky, gimmicky stats would be more useful again. true, but instead of "only 10% of the items which got everything else right will have enough mainstat to be useful", it will be "only 25% of the items with all the good quirky stuff have enough mainstat". not thaaaat much of a change. tbh my bigger hope are customized drops. and hopefully they get rid of useless stats on class-specific items. a quiver with 200 str 200 int, fuck yeah!! ![]()

Seriously, the bounty hunting combined with the rifts and adventure mode in general seem so great. I'm a bit annoyed by the large numbers, it's very hard to keep track to be honest, but that's a minor issue.

Yea I just reread it and realized I had read it wrong: You can trade any items, including legendary and set items, within the game you find them. And even when you leave we basically give you atime window that says “Hey, anyone you were just playing with you can trade that item with. (quote from blue post) So it sounds like you have a 2 hour window to trade that item with anyone who was in your party at the time of the drop regardless if you leave and restart the game or whatever.
