Malthael better not die...
He was literally the only interesting character left in the Diablo universe (besides Covetous Shen I guess).
God they really know how to fuck up their stories big time. At the end of D2 there was so much potential. It just feels all wasted.

Shen was awesome. But i don't know if i heard all the dialogues with him and if you know in the end if he is a god or not.

it's an action game for the teenager... of course it will be : "i will kill you ! no ! i will !".
You think teenagers want literature when playing a game were you just go around and kill more things than in a fps ?

Or did I misunderstand his story arc in Diablo 3? The latter. He took up the mantle of Wisdom as a human. And if this is spoiled for you, too bad. So i didn't understand the end of this game....
Apparently, I didn't either. Because the end cinematic looked to me like he was ascending to reclaim his status as an angel with the invisble glowy sparkle steps and the monologue and all that.
Even in act 1, the crazy healing preacher guy says something about how "justice must die for wisdom to be born" or something.

another melee class that appears to overlap with the monk = meh.
still, looking forward to playing. w0ot

New Feature - Loot Runs
15-20 minute completely random dungeons! Random weather! Random enemies! Random boss! Multitiered (severa levels deep)!
The Mystic
Can Transmogrify items, so you don't have to sacrifice looks for power. Item Enchanting - allows to reroll one of the affixes on a rare/legendary item.
New Level Cap - 70
Every class gets new Skills and Runes Which means a fresh economy and new power-cap as well
New Act
Featuring what looks like Westmarch, with lots of graveyards and other fun places!
Major Paragon Changes
Is now Account wide. No longer has a cap Seems to have Stat Allocation tied to it
"But what do paragon points do? can they only be used once on each hero? do they add stats or? @Narull It's a customization system. Paragon Points can be spent on various stats like STR/VIT/DEX/INT, movement speed, crit chance, etc."
"also, what happens to the people who've already leveled up in Paragon? @peli_can_flip Bonuses are retroactive. I.E. If you have two p100 heroes right now, the current plan is that you'd have 200 points in ROS." (So for you min/maxers, ideal would be to have 10 chars at P50)

hahaha True. Unless it's brood war. I still like that storyline. Just replayed C&C3 and i had the souvenir that when zergs... uh... when scrins arrive, it was an awesome twist and i was like : WTF ???? AWESOME !
But when i replayed it.. it was SO BAD lol. And acting sucks ass. Too bad i had a good memory of this (also it has the girl from doctor house)
But you are right. Story in video games are sometimes chep. You need to go to the "not mainstream" title. Like Overclocked had a really good story (2007ish click and point)

I'm also not buying this "teenager" argument when it comes to story.
I suppose 17-18 still counts as "teenager", but if ActiBlizzard is making mature rated games targeting a younger audience... isn't there some ethical problem here?
Reminds me of the Joe Camel mascot for camel cigarettes.
