edit: did kill him with overawe eventually ,but before that managed to get trapped beside a pillar between him and his critters.

thats the issue. should be at least 25k for act3, and higher than that for more efficiency. | ||

Current Stats - Sword and Board (185 dex 9% crit shield) 369/2047/299/669 7408 armor 29k dps 2.06 aps 15% crit +50% crit damage 506 resist 24k life with 791 life on hit. I cleared Inferno with much less stats using a life-regen heavy gear (1.2k/sec) and a very tanky build, but trying to find a good farming meduim. I use Inna's Helm (11% fists of thunder), Inna's Pants, and Tal Rasha's Chest... I can't seem to find rares that compare to the loss of 12% ias those give. Like the above poster, has anyone done any analysis on how effective the +% damage to a specific skill is on those Helms? | ||

Having a shield with crit on it doesn't really constitute as a "crit build". If you're serious about it, find an amulet with 6+ crit, rings with 4+, gloves with 8+ crit and 8+ attack speed, bracers and helm with crit, and a weapon with crit dmg and a free socket. | ||

12% IAS can easily be replaced by 150-250 dex. As for the Helm, it is simply terrible. Low primary stats, no resist, no socket. It might be fun to wear one if you can find a decent one for 400k, but that's about it. Funnily enough, it grants +% damage to the 6 skills that were spirit generator in early beta. Apparently, that's when most sets/legendaries were made, and they didn't bother to look at them ever since. They should have simply put a +% dmg to spirit generators instead, so one could at least entertain the idea of using combination strike. I used to wear a Spirit Stone with +deadly reach damage, and it does seem to give a % increase after everything, just like +6% holy damage on the belt. That said, with the stats on Inna's set being so bad, 10% damage can't make up for it. | ||

I have finished inferno using my wizard and collected 5mn from that. It doesn't make sense to keep the cash so i wanna throw everything to my lv60 monk. I got a few questions though: 1) What is the budget for each item? what are the more expensive ones and what stats to look for? 2) What is the reasonable resist to survive (with some kiting) in act 3? 3) What LoH is needed for act 3? I don't want to go full tank as well....kinda boring.....so i just want to know the min. stats to survive in act 3 then the rest i will go for dps. Thanks in advance! =) | ||

I can tank almost everything types of elite but it takes awhile to kill them so i am really bored now. Can my stat solo diablo? Thinking may be just ask mate for a waypoint and get this game done with -_- | ||

For comparison, I'm almost done with Act 2, having had very little trouble, and I have 650 resists, 23k dps(dual-wielding), 28000 life, 5.5k armor. I do have 1700 dex though, 900 LoH, and 20% crit, which especially with sweeping winds/cyclone(tornadoes proc LoH) makes my sustain through the roof even though i'm not even that tanky. Busy elite + normal mob fights move my hp bar so fast I have to have a lightning fast serenity trigger finger. If my hp moved as much as it does in HC as in SC, I would have been dead from a heart attack in no time. Skill suggestion since you're so tanky. Trash crippling wave, bring in sweeping wind/blades for the AoE. Trash your MoE, bring in Overawe. Your dps will go through the roof, and elites will die MUCH more quickly. | ||

If you swap out some gems, and get some LoH, you should be able to trash diablo. 950 resist and high block + dodge is in godlike tank realm. | ||
