 I was running around with 180kdps but only 27k hp (lol), had to rebuy and recraft most of my gear Dropped to 160k dps but now got myself 37k hp! Getting there! Also if I was rich I wish I could buy myself a perfect Natalya's Bloody Footprints or a Perfect WKL | ||

Unfortunately I only have 20 millions, I would appreciate it if anybody could help me figure out how to spend it. Or perhaps I should just save up? Are there obvious issues with my gear? It seems like everyone is DWing for the crit damage but I already have problems with my survivability, around MP4, where I rely hugely on my serenity, blinding flash and breath of heaven to stay alive. I'd appreciate any help. Cheers. | ||

I've got a similar question, I've tried some cheap 1h+WKL (cyclone build) and they seemed worse than my cheap lifesteal skorn (bell build). At what sorta budget does a 1h+WKL combo become more effective than a 2h build? | ||

Lifesteal weapons with good offensive stats are expensive. You don't have to have it (I never used it and I was fine at MP5) and it's especially hard to find a good weapon for it with sword / board. Sword and Board I believe uses more life on hit, since you can get that from jewelry. There are less popular ways to get sustainability too - I liked Life / Spirit Spent, but that really shines with dual weird so that's probably out for you (transcendence only goes so far). Some cray folks just go for high life / second and rely on high armor / resists to keep the damage under control. It's actually something I messed around with way, way back in the day and it does work, but requires you to be more careful with positioning. Basically you're lacking a way to get life. The other option is to go full glass cannon and just blast things down so fast that you're swimming in health globes, but if you're worried about survivability you might not want to try such an aggressive play style. But you have some options. @el_dawg - it used to be much easier to get a good Cyclone build; but with the way Bells have been buffed it's hard to say what the break-even point is... especially with how cheap Skornes are these days. | ||

You could also get a cheap lifesteal/dex skorn and try a build like this http://us.battle.net/d3/en/calculator/monk#aeSXkj!bdc!YbYbab . Your gear is a lot better than my monk's and I have no problem rolling through mp6. | ||

Also note that I tried to play a little with a friend's 2.8% life leach sword as my offhand and it didn't do enough to keep me alive. I'm also hesitant to replace any of my jewelry, because it has otherwise high stats, so I would lose on other fronts for the Life leach and LoH... | ||

Decent DPS weapons with two of the three (life steal, crit damage, socket) are in your budget, so go on AH (when it isn't down for the bug) and search for them. 1h Rares with 2 of 3, Echoing Furies with 2 of 3, and get one in your price range. Reread wooozy's post for the exact numbers. These are affordable things. Other items like jewelry with life on hit, and rares with dexterity and vit are a plus. You're looking at gear you can afford, and we were suggesting in a 20mil total available price range ... what you can get for that money. Happy Searching! | ||

I'm hoping this AH thing dies down so I can find upgrades for gear that has decent crit, but low dex/vit/res, and those with okay CC/CD but low everything else. Gearing for monk beyond this is just too insane right now >.> | ||
