I'm more excited about the Dashing Strike almost tripple damage.

I have been a fan of the infinite TR build however. With a buff to sweeping winds as well, you might be able to wreck enemies with one run threw.

Even with the TR buff and SW "buff" (nerf really) I'd recommend WoL:EL a shot. Even unbuffed on live now it is awesome. TR into the middle of a packed room, GONG, everything dies, and enough pickup radius to TR away to the next room, no circling to touch every mob or waiting for cyclones needed!

I take that back, spamming Empowered Wave on MP0 is better than Explosive Light! I noticed EL's room coverage to be lacking enough to just spam EW since EL doesn't have the followup hit. Can farm ~15 essenses an hour on MP0. Only one pattern tho

The damage / spirit ratio on Empowered is so much better (plus you can physically spam more on a boss, which is very satisfying). That I'm not surprised EW beats EL.

Can't wait to get home and try the new patch changes though. How much do you feel the SW nerf?

I purposefully sold all my snapshot gear and switched out of blind/boh to WoL so the patch would result in a pretty massive playstyle buff for me. Was pretty nice, as I run with ~21 spirit regen/sec so just spamming Bells is the funnest thing to do! I actually don't end up spamming Bells on bosses outside of serenity since my gear is terrible resist and sustain-wise.

Ya, I can't 2-hand lifesteal snapshot anymore, so my monk has taken a huge hit to survivability.

It's pretty silly now; with 75k dps (buffed) my Monk is one-shotting fallen peons and skeletons on MP6... but without any lifesteal on my SW I'm getting WTFPwnd by some of the nastier elite packs (lightning has never bothered me before today lol).

I tried a LTK build for speed runs and on MP0 and it's pretty silly how fast you can kick a boss to death (fun fact, LTK now does more damage than all pre-1.0.7 versions of WoL).

I had doing low mp runs though; but I might make an exception to get some plans.

Should I just drop some resist and get a 2 set inna's? Something else?
Also, should I drop my LoH weapon and get life steal? I'm not quite sure when to go for life steal

The patch certainly made Diablo somewhat fun again, since there are at least 2 items that you can actually only find for urself. Shoulders and Bracers can get really good, the others too. Probably 3 items because only the chest piece is pretty much necessary for set items imo.

I love Inna's 4 piece now since spirit is much better now. I didn't look for spirit stuff at all before this patch (in fact i didn't play for some months even), but with the insanely good WoL it looks like very good to do so.

Is there any use for Lashing Tail Kick? I tried it and thought it's inferior to WoL (for farming purposes at least, not talking about PVP). Perhaps the stun is good, although WoL has a rune for that too.

Okay, I'm really confused now. What do you mean by "spirit is much better now"?? I looked at the Inna's pieces and it's still the same crappy spirit bonus. Did they change something else I'm unaware of with the spirit mechanic?

With that i mean the -70 spirit on Sweeping Wind, which is spend better elsewhere. I myself often don't manage to keep it up all the time else, but i don't only run the most efficient things.

Before i basically didn't use my spirit at all, except for Tempest Rush builds and keeping up the mantra (which isn't much). The other things like Blinding Flash or Breath of Heaven don't really consume all that much.

Perhaps it's not much better, but better for sure. ^^

Don't know your budget, but i think you'd benefit from getting won khim lau with lifesteal+socket - make sure the lightning dmg bonus is close to 25%. Other possiblity is get nats ring+boots. Once you have lifesteal instead of LoH, dps upgrades help survivability as much (sortof) as AR. I think innas pants are the best piece, but you got a crapload of vit and resist on the pants, so might want to side-grade some pieces to get HPs in other slots first.

For low level MP farming, LTK just doesn't have the radius to really compete even if white mobs are one-shot. The only advantage it does have over WoL is that is a 2-3x higher proc coefficient for spawning cyclones and stuff. Empowered wave for me all the way though!

Yes the new Wave of Light(needs more cow bell) is a staple for me when I'm not running with CM Wiz, which get switched out for Cyclone Strike. I was a bit disappointed with Exploding Palm but at least we got something out of it

If found the stun WoL to be best for higher mp group farming, but the lower spirit cost is really nice to blast through solo.

Okay, i want to give Tempest Rush a try but before i can do that i most definitely need a Skorn (as i hear that's basically the one and only weapon) and perhaps a SoJ.

I read guides saying you can buy both of those for about 5m each in a low budget build. I guess for a SoJ with rather bad spirit regen and some Tempest Rush Crit or Sweeping Wind damage that might work after some checking, but Skorn seems just so expensive. I don't think getting one without Lifeleech makes sense. I could spend 10-15m too, but then i'm basically out of gold and i don't know how good it will work anyway (but i'll probably have about 90-100k dps unbuffed with one so it SHOULD fine on MP0 at least) so i'm somewhat against spending that much. ^^

Either way, i'm correct about assuming LL is a must have right? I don't think a LoH Skorn or LaK Skorn will help much vs reflect damage, which basically every elite has ... So i probably will have to get an Int Skorn with about 1250-1300 DPS, as that's probably better than one with only around 1100-1150 DPS and Dex (assuming similar CHD)...? ^^ God i hate buying things on the AH, specially weapons.

If you're sticking with MP0 (or even MP1) LL is not needed in any way shape or form.

You'll be one-shotting stuff so often that you'll be fine waiting for health globes. Should be the same for Elites; since they drop a globe every 25%; which happens very fast with 90-100k dps unbuffed.

RD has been nerfed pretty heavily so that you should be fine as well.

LaK is an interesting option, but I don't think it's necessary either.

So are you advising me to buy one without LL? I got pretty decent bonus health per globe (18k), but it sounds like it could be pretty rough at times.

In theory i got about 20 mil to spend, so i COULD buy one with LL per bid maybe for 12-15mil (though that's hard) with about 1250-1300 dps and dex. without LL i'd get about 1450-1500+ dps skorns with dex for the same price... hmmm ^^
